The place is located right on the seafront at the inlet to the Lysefjord and is a good starting point for visits to, among other things, the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag and Flørli. It is 600-700 meters to the quay where the ferry and fast boat go into the Lysefjord. Supermarket is 100 meters from the apartment. It is possible to swim on the beach right outside. Preikestolen er kun en 20 minutters kjøretur unna. I tillegg er det flere andre toppturer rett i nærheten. Stedet er perfekt for late sommerdager med bading, fisking eller turer i området rundt Lysefjorden. Hytta har grill og utekjøkken. I tillegg er det uteområder for badminton og krokett med en fantastisk utsikt.
