Spacious cabin with a great view, with hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).

Valldal climbing park is suitable for children on the way to Trollstigen. 15 km to outdoor swimming pool.

Perfect area for hiking, exploring and excursions, only 10 minutes by car to reach Strandafjellet ski resort and gondolas. Great base for randonee skiing. Geiranger, Ålesund, Trollstigen, Atlanterhavsvegen and Runde are some of the attractions that can be reaced as a daytrip. Stryn and Loen skylift.

Aasengard ligger høyt og fritt midt i et flott kulturlandskap omkranset av ville fjell. Garden grenser til Geirangerfjorden som ligger på UNESCO`s verdensarvliste. The location is 10 minutes from ferry rental and shop, it takes only 20 minutes to drive to Geiranger city center. Here is also a short distance to many nice mountain walks, such as Grjotet, Blåhornet and Smogehornet, as well as several old cottages and idyllic Kilstivatnet.
