Beach house holiday rentals in Strathmere, Upper Township

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liz’s place for a long weekend! We stayed with 3 small dogs who ran laps around the huge fully fenced in yard all weekend long; Only thing to note is there is not direct access to the backyard from the house, just a few small steps from the side door to the fence.. wasn’t a problem for us, our dogs learned quickly! The neighborhood is quiet and while the beach on the bay isn’t exactly for lounging, it was a quick walk from the house and was perfect for morning & evening walks! It was amazing to see all of the horseshoe crabs. The beaches of Cape May are a quick 20 minute drive. Liz provided an extensive list of recommendations prior to our arrival which made it easy to plan ahead. We had some rain and wind during our stay but the house was cozy for when we weren’t out & about! The beds were comfortable. Highly recommend this stay!

We had a great stay at this AirBnB, it truly is right on the water. The pictures and all the listed amenities are accurate. The house was very clean and the air conditioning worked great on hot days. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious and each bedroom and the living room has their own Smart TV. We appreciated the first floor bedroom and bathroom for our older guests. The location provides immediate access to the beach with a lovely deck, a short drive to Milton restaurants and a quick walk to the Broadkill store for pantry items. The houses are close together and everyone was friendly and respectful of quiet hours. Linda was incredibly responsive and check-in was easy.

This residence was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with all that was needed for a great stay with family. Spacious rooms, multiple porches/decks, nice view of the bay, and beautiful pool/patio area were all enjoyable features of the home.

We decided last minute to travel over Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate to find Katie's place open for a few days. She is a very responsive host. Home was very clean and as listed. We were able to bring our dog and found her property to be very dog friendly. Peaceful location just a short walk to the bay. Perfect for small family with pet. Close to all Cape May has to offer.

Eman was very quick to respond to any questions we had, the place was very clean, we were close to the beach & boardwalk. This was our first time to Ocean City New Jersey, & we definitely enjoyed our stay!!!

My sister and I enjoyed our time here with our girls. Megan’s place was super cute. The beds were comfortable too. We would definitely stay again.

Well had a lovely Easter weekend, thoroughly enjoyed looking out onto and hearing the birds in the marsh and the short 3 block walk to the shore. The house was clean and well maintained and likely out favorite shore rental yet! Thanks for a very nice weekend away!

This was a great stay for my boyfriend and I! The Airbnb was super clean and it was in a great location. Super close to the beach and other great restaurants. Would highly recommend!!

We had a lovely time at this bayfront home! The views from the balconies were amazing. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Host answered our questions and had helpful communications. We hope to visit again soon!

Mark and family’s Sunsets and Serenity was far beyond what we were hoping for in a family vacation rental. The location right along the bay has the best vibe for relaxation with the sound and smell of ocean so close. So many amenities in this home! Everything was already available when we needed something, be it cooking wares and all the appliances, towels, beach/yard toys and games, plus awesome pool and porches to hang out at. Also, only 15-20 minutes from great restaurants, beaches, and boardwalk! Truly cannot say enough about this amazing home and the awesome family that runs it. We rented Michaels place for a group of us for a 30th birthday and it was fantastic. As a person who loves to cook, the kitchen was my absolute favorite. The island was beautiful and held a big group and there’s plenty of seating outside. It was great that all but one bedroom had its own bathroom. Such a great space would love to come back!

Dave’s place was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb and have never had such a pristine experience along with a host that was bending over backwards. I don’t think I waited more than 10 minutes for a response from Dave when I had a question. The location is at the top of cape may with beautiful scenery in the front and total privacy in the back. I can’t encourage people enough to stay here! It was perfect.

Once again, we had a great time at Cara's home! Our third year here and we continue to be very happy with the location, amenities, and charm of the house. Thank you so much for your flexibity and for the wonderful note and delightful bottle of wine. Andrea & Michael

Our group had a great time! The weather wasn’t the best, which made the indoor pool so great! Any questions we had, Hong was super responsive. The location of the house had a beautiful view and felt very private. We would definitely book again.

Roseanne's place was amazing. So adorable, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The cabana room was such an awesome space--both during the day and in the evenings. The private pool and easy access to the beach gave us plenty of options. So close to all the restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream spots, etc. that we only used the car once when we wanted to grab dinner in Cape May. Roseanne was super communicative and, had we needed anything, I have no doubt she would have resolved it immediately. We will definitely be back. :)

Our family loved this spot! Was actually bigger than the pictures made it seem which was great! Great location and really close to the bay. Worked really well for our little ones too! We’ll definitely be back!

Great location! Better than the pictures. We had a relaxing stay even the weather wasn’t ideal, we did some reading, cooked our own meals, and walked to the grocery store just 15 minutes away. The space was spotless, with clean bedding and towels, and it was well stocked with everything we needed. The decor was tasteful and cozy, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Great Place. Great time! What a perfect location and lovely house. An absolute no-brainer for a spot in sea isle. Would absolutely go back and will recommend to a friend.

We loved everything about this house from the breathtaking views, open spacious layout, and well-stocked amenities. The biggest feature is the location and the view! Even during rainy days, we enjoyed so much of our time in the bay facing room ( completely unobstructed view!) watching the wildlife, ships, and bay activity. It was perfect for our small kids.

expensive but nice, couldn't find hair dryer, Iron or ironing board. Did not provide shampoo or conditioner. bring your own bed sheets other than that it was good

We had the best get away! Eileen may be the best host we have ever had! We are lucky to have another trip booked in this beautiful house later in the summer. The whole weeoend was so relaxing, and peaceful.
