Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

The Highland Haven, converted barn, John O'Groats

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

The Old Smiddy, Huna, John O'Groats

Close to the village of John O' Groats and on the North Coast 500, the Old Smiddy (an old blacksmith's cottage) has been beautifully restored into a modern home, while keeping many of its original features. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms (both en-suite) and has a fold-away camp bed for use by a small child. The cottage offers beautiful sea views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and is the perfect base for exploring Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney.

Haven Gore is situated on the famous North Coast 500 route, 2 miles from John O'Groats, overlooking stunning seaviews of the Orkney Islands. Just a stones throw from the city centre of Wick, this Northerly cottage sits beautifully off the A99, making it the perfect destination for those taking on the stunning NC500 route. Drumdry has recently completed a HUGE renovation and this historic little cottage has bags to offer family and friends. Sitting adjoined to an old steading building, we love the history that this property holds.

Tottie's Cottage

A traditional Scottish croft house with sea views which has been lovingly restored to a very high standard with all modern amenities. Located in the most northerly village on mainland UK, with coastline walks and beaches in abundance nearby. A special place to explore or simply relax and unwind.
