Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

It's located in a private road no-through road, within walking distance to public transport and a ten-minute drive to Stroud. The sleeping and living areas have plenty of storage and there's a large, luxurious shower room and fully-fitted, well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoying an elevated position on the edge of town, stunning views are provided from the south-facing room. Situated just a three-minute walk off the Cotswold Way national walking route, The Haven is an excellent base for exploring the magnificent Cotswolds. Lovely Ground floor apartment with a huge open plan living room, kitchen and dining room with great views toward Gloucester Green Bowling Club. High ceiling really make this a wow space to stay at for a romantic stay away or family holiday. The bathroom is off the main bedroom so any adults sleeping in the fold out beds will have to walk through the bedroom to access it which won't suit all guests.

We offer a rural location surrounded by fields, our own meadow and woodland. The Woolpack, as immortalised in Laurie Lee's 'Cider with Rosie', is only a 10 minute walk away. We are dog friendly! Our Airbnb is situated on the top floor of Upper Steanbridge Mill. It has its own separate access, but we do use the space when it is not let out and it is first and foremost a home!
