Such a lovely place. Sadly, I only had a couple of nights and one day to really enjoy it, but I immediately looked to re-book upon departing, and although the dates I looked at did not work, I will definitely return. Joe was really friendly and helpful. The house is lovely, well-designed and thought through with plenty of space. The weather was a bit damp, but otherwise we would have also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden with its seated areas and hot tub. Many thanks for a lovely break

I stayed at Steel House with six of my old school friends and we all really enjoyed our stay. The garden is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings with a drink and to be kept warm by the fire pit as the sun sets. The entertainment in the games room was great fun too. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with the basics for the home cooking. The whole house was beautifully furnished and very clean. We found Steel House to be the perfect location for our get together and it is very good value for money. Would recommend!😊

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

what a wonderful week! very comfortable and relaxing either indoors or on the patio lovely garden and orchard. perfect for our large dog to run around. such friendly and helpful hosts lots of recommendations for exactly what we wanted! beautiful woodland walks in the midst of the forest of dean. thank you so much. highly recommended (check out Mallards pike :-) ) - we will book again!

Lovely place. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. Only comment - the accommodation is right next to the main house and so view through the windows is the house. There are privacy blinds and so not a problem for us

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

From the moment we arrived at Lower Mill Estates we were in awe of how picturesque and serene the property was. Everything about this listing was as advertised and more. The host Victoria was extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions leading up to our trip. I was able to reach out with questions during our trip as well, with a fast response. Oakleigh cottage is situated next to a giant willow tree with surrounding gardens, and has the quintessential Cotswolds feel to it. I let Victoria know we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Upon arrival to the cottage, we found the cottage filled with birthday decor and a special gift for her! We were so surprised! It was such a nice touch to our stay. Our family loved swimming in the pools, kayaking, paddle boarding, and taking walks to the local restaurants. It was a one of a kind vacation that we’ll always remember. Thank you for making our stay so awesome! We hope to be back again one day!

Very welcoming host, met us right on time and gave us a tour of the cottage! Also a lovely touch that Hillary left a few farm eggs for us so we had them for breakfast! Good location, all amenities were as described, a few shops near by (5-10 mins drive) so we had a good holiday just switching off for a few days! A few recommendations for pubs as well - we picked the Foxham which we really liked! The only improvement I’d say would be that it would be good to have an option of a blind/curtain for the front door/window.

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

My friends and I went to stay in Sam's place for my birthday! It was a beautiful cottage with the most beautiful views! It's extremely central in Painswick and right on top of gorgeous walks. Every single room was lovely and we had a very comfortable sleep. Sam was extremely helpful in providing recommendations (definitely go to the Woolpack in Slad!). All in all we had the most perfect stay and I can't wait to book and stay again! Thank you Sam!

My partner and I looked for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in the UK, that offered a close-up view of nature. Whilst searching we came across Bulls Cottage and booked immediately. Upon arrival, pictures of the location failed to do it true justice, as the breathtaking views and surrounding areas give you a feel of freedom and space, with nature accessible right at your front-door. Bulls Cottage itself was a clean, nicely laid out residence, offering a space big enough to relax, partake in home-cooking and sleeping comfortably. Furthermore, the closeness of getting to Painswick and Stroud by car was also another bonus. Rebecca and her family were amazing hosts, allowing my partner and I the space to truly enjoy everything that comes with Bull Cottage, but being close enough to be on-hand for any asks / recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and would definitely look to return in the future!

Beautiful little cottage a short walk from Stroud town centre. A great base for exploring the town and nearby villages and countryside. Nicely decorated with cute little outside area and comfortable beds.

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Thank you for a great break. We found the location ideal for our base for visiting the local sites. There were enough pubs for a drink and a meal, there was a Tesco Exrtra and very nice cafe/coffee shop all walkable distance. I would recommend walking as driving and parking is tight especially if you have a large car. The house had everything you need for a comfy stay, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and kitchen facilities. We are out all day so as long as it is nice to crash out in of an evening we are happy and this was. The weather was good while we were there and there is a little garden to sit out in of an evening. Enjoyed it very much good base to explore the Cotwolds, many thanks.

Absolute dream home - pristine clean, 1000/1000 hosts, honestly it's probably the best airbnb I've ever stayed in and I've travelled a lot. This spot should be prescription for busy Londoners. Thank you so much!!!
