On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Welcome to Solberget cabins! Newly renovated cottage (2024) with one bedroom, one bathroom and open living room/kitchen solution. Private patio with outdoor fireplace, terrace and dining area. Here you can enjoy stunning views over Oldevatnet. It is possible to borrow a canoe, boat, sauna, washing machine and dryer by appointment. The cabin is located on a farm about 5 km from Olden city center, where you will find shops, gas station and cafes. Otherwise, it is a short distance to Briksdalen, Loen skylift and Stryn.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located 270 meters above sea level in a beautiful pearl - Nordfjord. Here you get a unique experience framed in one of Norway's finest views, where you can simultaneously enjoy the feeling of luxury and tranquility. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence in the middle of mountains and fjords on Sunde, by the blue-green Oldevatnet /Oldewater. Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!

Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can be rented and enjoy the tranquility and nice view of the Hjørundfjord. There is also a private harbor with the possibility to rent a boat. Price per day: 16 ft 15/20 horsepower NOK 600 plus petrol. 18 ft 30 horsepower NOK 850 per day. Gasoline is in addition to what the customer uses. Life jackets can be borrowed. All boat rentals are at your own risk
