Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sumatra

Inaz' house was perfect for our small group gathering. Everything was designed and provided for us to have a perfect weekend getaway to chill and for a BBQ evening. All amenities were there for us to make breakfast and lunch too. We love how clean, and the small things (small pool table, boardgames, kids play area etc.) host prepared to ensure their guests have plenty to do throughout the stay. We were also very pleased with host's generosity to allow checkout at 2pm. That gives us enough time to fully enjoy the next day. Will definitely come back again!

Such a peaceful and beautiful stay! The house had Bali-inspired vibes, clean with a private pool and a stunning view. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Just a small suggestion it would be even better to add extra aircond in the living room as it can get quite warm during the day. Highly recommended, would love to come back!

Staying at this homestay was a delightful experience! The house was filled with traditional Malay charm, from the beautifully crafted wooden interiors to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We are here to enjoy the weekend together with the team and be a bit more chill. Met the expectations, and everyone rested well. Whoever wants to come in a group, I think is a good choice beds are more than enough to fit everyone. There is also another small cottage which female and male can seperate out

We really enjoyed our time at Haikaa.. really love the design. The space is quaint and beautiful. Right across the sea and overlooking Lover’s Bridge a stone’s throw away. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and sunrise views from our little strolls on the bridge. The living area is spacious which was good for my group of 10 and the house is equipped with all the necessary amenities including smart TV. The host is very responsive and easily reachable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to discover this beautiful hidden gem that really showcases the beauty of this small town.

The house is very nice and clean, pool was the highlight for the kids. It's good enough to splash around but not a lap pool definitely. House has all the amenities listed, it's within walking distance to Jonker, within a quiet residential estate. Host is very responsive and considerate, she prepared snacks and drinks ahead of our arrival. Toilets though small, are clean and sufficient. The only suggestion I have is to install more wash basins, for my family of 11 we need to take turns to brush out teeth as there is only 1 basin. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back!

We greatly appreciated Mek Ganu’s wonderful hospitality and many thoughtful and personable gestures to make our stay at Teratak Sekuchi a truly special and memorable one. Love this place so much! Same goes for my family. Dennis is a good and responsive host. His house is very clean—feels like home sweet home. You can see he put a lot of thought and care into his homestay. Dennis prepared a lot of free F&B (eggs, cup noodles, coffee, tea, Milo, milk, etc). We loved the balcony the most—very comfortable! Had breakfast there every morning with what he provided. If got Jam, it would be perfect! Really appreciate he gave freeze-dried coffee and not 3-in-1—nice touch! Living room has 2 sofas—one of them is moderately firm, good for sleeping. Two bedrooms: master room fits 3–4 people and smaller room fits 2 and comes with a balcony. The bathroom is clean, and shampoo is provided. Water pressure is strong, and the water is hot. The TV is large but only supports YouTube, unless you have a Netflix account to log in. Parking is convenient, just in front of the house and no need to wait for the lift—very convenient! Overall, an excellent stay. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly give five stars! The management team was excellent — friendly, responsive, and professional throughout. We’d especially like to thank Adam, who kindly and patiently showed us around the property and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The view from the house was truly spectacular, both day and night. Everything was well taken care of, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

The apt has a great view of Petronas, let’s start there. It is spacious and has everything that you need in your day-to-day. Gym, pool, rooftop with a pool. Just a few minutes from shopping centre and metro. I recommend fully.

Perfect stay with an unforgettable view! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described, with an absolutely stunning view at night. The location is super convenient—right next to Lalaport Shopping Mall and easy to get a Grab to anywhere in the city. The hosts were very responsive and made everything smooth. It was more than just a stay—it became a lifelong memory, as I was proposed to right on the balcony overlooking the city lights. Truly magical. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. The apartment is spacious and well kept. Easy to find and easy to self check in. The location is a little bit out of the centre, which we always look for. But it’s easy to get a grab or a train into the centre. The trains are air conned so we loved being on them. There are plenty of great restaurants near by and street food places within walking distance. The view at night from the apartment and the pool is the highlight. Recommend a night time swim with the lit up skyline. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return the KL. Thank you.

Diana 's place is a gem. The view of the house is amazing. The house is as per everything is shown in the picture. Clean and beautiful! Is a near walk to Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza. Is surrounded by foods and easily assessible by foot, car or by grab.

Andrew’s condo is immaculate. Everything has been so thoughtfully considered. It made for an exceptionally comfortable and safe stay. And Andrew is a very responsive and helpful communicator - even graciously accepting feedback. It’s only been 1 day, and my two teenagers are already asking to return!
