You can machine wash sportswear and tumble dry it in the dryer. After your workout, you can relax in the renovated sauna. A canopy can be found for your car with a heating plug. It is not possible to charge an electric or hybrid vehicle here. The nearest charging point is located in the yard of the nearby S-Market. Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Beach sauna with wood-burning stove in use all year round, the house also has an electric sauna. The beach sauna dressing room has heating. Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site.
