Holiday rentals with breakfast in Susquehanna River

Anne and Chad are fantastic hosts. The B&B is an awesome place with so much history and charm. Its spacious rooms and large backyard offer all the opportunities you could want. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary items and the prepared food that was waiting for us was delicious and generous. A perfect place for families with all ages. And no better places for family dogs.

We were extremely pleased with Shinto and his house. The house and the surrounding area were more beautiful than the pictures could capture. Shinto was a very accommodating and I couldn’t ask for a better host. Will definitely be returning asap!

I can't say enough how much my mom and I needed this peaceful setting to rest and restore. The home was beautiful and the surrounds were very relaxing. Watching the horses in the morning and evening along with a glass of coffee or wine was wonderful. We were visiting Gettysburg and this was just the right distance from all of the sites. We also went to Lisa's restaurant twice while visiting and had wonderful meals in downtown Gettysburg. The extra touches were amazing as well, cookies, eggs, chocolate milk and a special treat from the Silos was nice too. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

KinderHawk Schoolhouse was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful place to unwind from our busy lives. This place delivered. The schoolhouse itself is quaint and charming. It has everything and more. The welcome basket was very appreciated. The surroundings are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the patio watching the farm animals at the farm across the street and bird watching. We enjoyed the outside fire pit and also the indoor fireplace on the cool evenings. We hiked Hawk mountain which is 2 miles up the road. It has spectacular views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. I wish we stayed longer. I can’t say enough good things about it.

This townhouse was immaculate and we felt right at home immediately. From the dog bowls & treats to the snacks & groceries already provided, it made our stay really smooth!

We enjoyed our stay at Brendan’s house , very peaceful area , the house is old but clean and in nature we loved it . Brendan makes sure that everything goes well and gave us a lot of informations about hike trails , restaurants and things to do in the area .

Perfect little spot in the heart of Montour Falls. Quick little drive to Watkins Glen state park and many restaurants/coffee shops in that area. We even ventured over to check out falls in Ithaca & Taughannock.

Great location around lots of amazing hiking. The apartment felt private and had everything we needed. Shower pressure was amazing and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Barbara was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. She even had wine waiting for us. We loved the apartment and it was perfect for our needs! We look forward to staying there again!

Wonderful experience, I really can't say one negative thing. Beautiful farm located in Amish country. My wife and I loved petting the calves, dogs and kittens. Wilma had cookies, bread, milk and eggs for us. Can't wait to go back!

Susan was amazing! She is very responsive to all my questions and helpful. The place was absolutely perfect, just like the pictures. Easy to find and a smooth check-in and out. If traveling through we would definitely stay again.

The Modena House was perfect for our trip. We wished we had the chance to enjoy the outdoor aspect a little more, however time and weather didn’t cooperate with us. The place is adorable, a great kitchen, nicely decorated sitting room, bathroom and bedroom made for a lovely stay. The hosts are top notch! We hope to stay again in the future if we are in the area. We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

Heidi’s place was more than you could ask for. It was very relaxing. Heidi was amazing and so friendly you felt at home. Her breakfasts were delicious and elegant and pleasing to the eyes. We definitely would stay again❤️

What a great host! They made us feel right at home and rolled out the red carpet for us. Great conversation and great privacy when needed. Good decision to stay with Renate and Bob. Will definitely stop in the next time we are in the area.

Kelly & Phil were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to give us a comfortable memorable stay! Whether offering restaurant recommendations, stocking the fridge with dairy free drinks and snacks, or bringing a beautiful breakfast of pastries and homemade jam each morning, they showed their thoughtfulness and generosity in all they did. Their property is secluded and gorgeous and has the lovely perk of their two sweet dogs. We’re so grateful they shared their home with us, and we would absolutely stay again any time we’re in the area. We can’t recommend the Cottage enough!

My husband and I were visiting Lancaster to go to the Sight & Sound theater and were so blessed that we got to stay with Ray and Donna. We have stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and this was by far the best. The room was exactly as pictured and described in the post and everything was IMMACULATELY cleaned! From the bed linens, to the bathroom, it was all perfect. Not to mention how sweet and accommodating Ray and Donna were! Offering local restaurant and attractions for us to try. The breakfast they offer every morning was DELICIOUS with SO many options!! We loved getting to talk with them and get to know them over breakfast every morning, such a sweet way to start the day before heading out to explore. Last but not least, we told Ray and Donna how much we loved the Meadow Tea Donna served to us and they cut us mint leaves right from their own garden and even gave us roots to start our own mint plant so we could make the tea at home! They are just the sweetest, this was the best stay EVER.

Lucille’s place was perfect! We needed a place to stay for a local wedding and her place was a peaceful retreat during a very busy weekend. The plants and flowers surrounding her property are stunning, the pond was a fun feature to have on site, and she had so many nice touches and amenities for us. I would highly recommend her place!

Lisa’s place was super peaceful and clean. She asked about food allergies since she makes homemade muffin breads for breakfast. My son has a spice allergy and accommodated this issue. The breads were delicious! Fresh fruit was also available. One of our other favorite things was the fish pond. My son and I fed the fish 4 times during our 3 night stay. The walk to the pond was serene. The walk back was slightly challenging for me since I am out of shape. It was a good workout for me. My son had no problem. He enjoyed swinging on the tree swing. There were other guests in the 2 other rooms while we were there and we barely saw them. Lisa is delightful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
