Yurt holiday rentals in Susquehanna River

This is a great camp ground with wonderful nature trails and accessible necessities like kitchen, toilets and shower if you need them. But also a place to rough it if you want to. I was a first time camper learning the ropes with a friend and I felt like it was just a great place to get started. Thanks joe!

The yurt itself is very small and rustic, but with a sturdy bed, warm linens, and a nice view out the window. The walk to the common spaces is short and easy, leading through some beautiful gardens to get to the sauna/bathhouse/kitchen/firepit/parking area. The bathhouse and kitchen were clean, heated, spacious, and comfortable. Kyle had small, electric lanterns stored in the kitchen for our nighttime use, which was a lovely touch. We loved making a fire and counting the stars, and appreciated the friendliness and respectfulness of the other guests in the space. There are lots of great places nearby to eat and drink, and we loved being so close to so many trailheads and the entrance to Minnewaska State Park for hiking. We hope to come back soon!

This place exceeded our expectations from the listing! Kyle & staff were very friendly & helpful when it came to questions we had during the checkin/checkout process. Firewood was stocked on the facility, so we were easily able to set up the fire pit for communal use. We stayed in the south yurt, which had a gas heating stove (not wooded). It kept us really toasty during the cold weather this past weekend (at night it was 30-40 °F). I’m glad we got the yurt with heating. The sauna was also a wonderful touch to the facility for the cold weather. Showers & bathrooms were very clean. We didn’t cook that much during our stay, but the communal kitchen had many appliances & utensils, for those who planned to cook. Would 100% recommend this location for a nice getaway.

What a gem of a place! My husband, our dog, and I camped on Joe’s property over the long weekend and it could not have been more perfect. We chose the campsite up the hill at the pond, and the view was gorgeous. It was secluded and much better than your typical crowded campgrounds, but still close enough to the clean outdoor shower, kitchen and composite toilet to enjoy the amenities he offers. The site had a picnic table and fire pit for an added bonus, and our dog spent hours swimming in the pond. The location was perfect for exploring the larger Ithaca and Finger Lakes region. I cannot say enough great things about this place, do not hesitate to book this stay!

Such a cool place! My girlfriend & I found this last minute and we were glad to have. So many beautiful acres of rolling hills tucked away about 30 minutes away from downtown Ithaca. We stayed in a tent right near a gently flowing creek. All the amenities listed are all quality and thoughtfully created - recommend this stay if you are trying to camp with much more isolation and tranquility than your typical campground.

Mia and Johns beautiful property, Yurt, and kindness was truly what my Husband and I needed for our weekend getaway! The Yurt was sparkling clean with a gorgeous bathroom and perfectly stocked. The pond was beautiful and perfect for paddle boarding with a lovely family of geese! Mia and John were always very responsive and always made sure to check in with us and that we had everything we needed. They also have a very sweet chocolate lab! We can't thank them enough for their hospitality and attention to detail. Thank you again!

We had such an incredible stay at this yurt in the woods! Jana and Denise were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated them delivering some items we ordered from the farm, they made for amazing meals. We’d love to be back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, we were talking about when we'd go back on the car ride home. The yurt itself is very clean, cozy, and peaceful. We loved falling asleep listening to the sounds of nature around us. The property is about 25 minutes from Ithaca, and is close to plenty of hiking trails. We couldn't find the campfire grill grate that was mentioned in the listing so we had to improvise cooking over the fire, but it turned out just fine. We absolutely loved the tour of the homestead. Carolyn was very kind and quick to respond. I can not recommend the yurt enough!

Thanks for a wonderful, easy stay! Beautiful farm and animals. The bed is a pull out futon in a cabin. Bathroom is out back but very clean port a potty. Simple and rustic.

Melissa’s yurt was a serene oasis with all the comforts of home. We loved hearing the sound of the rain on the yurt and sleeping in the cozy loft. The place was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a long anniversary weekend. The yurt has lovely artistic touches and is set in a beautiful pasture. Seeing the sheep was a welcome site with morning coffee. And so many birds to hear and enjoy. The area has so much to do and see. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing space for our group of 8! We added the yurt onto our rental for those of us looking to further unplug. We loved all the art and general vibe of the space. Hot tub was amazing and we loved sitting by the fireplace. We hope to return soon!

I'm not sure where to start! This luxurious yurt was cozy, welcoming, rustic and warm beyond what could be captured in the descriptions or pictures! Serene and peaceful, it was the perfect escape from the city. I could not have imagined a place like this existing. Cathy was an incredible host, extremely responsive, and has done a phenomenal job creating and maintaining this gem of a destination. The yurt is fully equipped with everything you could every need and want, and is located on a private farm with gorgeous surroundings. No question we will back to take advantage of this space again. Thank you Cathy for sharing this space with us!

We adored this space - natural, calm, and friendly vibe. The yurt was very spacious and bright with many lighting options. On a chilly fall evening we found that the wood stove had been stocked and lit already - much appreciated!

This was our first time staying in a yurt and Edward's place was a great experience and he was a very responsive host. The place is setup very comfortably and was nice and tidy. Our dog really loved that the creek was right there for a swim.

Expect a calm, intimate space for rest and relaxation surrounded by nature. The owners practice a truly holistic lifestyle which very much reflects in the impressive area they’ve built and the overall experience, lending to its authenticity. This airbnb is for people who enjoy nature, hiking, dogs (there are two on the premise) and generally disconnecting. If you’re not looking for this, it may not be the place for you. If you do find it appealing — this place will definitely deliver. The owners were also great and responsive to any requests and recommendations.

My wife and I stayed at Eric's yurt over Memorial Day weekend and we were so impressed by the experience. Eric is an impeccable host, kind and easy to communicate with. The yurt itself is a fascinating, well-built structure, which Eric has impressively appointed with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, using the fire pit, watching the birds and listening to the peeper frogs in the pond and adjacent marshland. The historically hippie town of Woodstock is nearby with all its food, drink and arts & crafts options. Lots of places in the vicinity to go hiking and spend time in the natural world of the Catskills: we enjoyed visiting Kaaterskill Falls and the Sloan Gorge Preserve. I highly recommend a stay in Eric's yurt.

We had a great time staying at the yurt! It had everything we needed and enough space for the four of us. There was free firewood available as well!

Great weekend getaway for us and our dog. Wonderful spot for fires and walks on the property. The Yurt was very nice and wondering to sleep in during a thunderstorm. Nice low key low maintenance place to get away! Will come again.

We loved our stay at Plum Point, it was such a beautiful property. The little trail along the stream and the chairs out by the lake were favorites. Our dog loved it too and got all the sniffs and pets! And the restaurant here was AMAZING, we can't say enough good things about the food AND the drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about coming to the Finger Lakes.
