Chalet holiday rentals in Susquehanna River

Great place that was clean, comfortable and cozy. There were excellent instructions for everything and my family loved the hot tub!

This was a pit stop for us between Canada and Philadelphia. Perfectly situated between the two stare parks we wanted to visit.

We are so thankful to Jason and his family for sharing their special place with us. We immediately felt right at home and had more than enough room for all 3 adults. We were immediately blown away with the breathtaking river right in the front yard! We never saw anyone else on the river the whole trip so it felt like we had it all to ourselves too. We started our day listening to the river while drinking coffee on their beautiful deck. And, then later in the day, we enjoyed tubing down the river, leaving from a nearby bridge and ending the trip back at the property. I have a service dog, named Charlie, that did everything with us too (including floating down the river) and I think he enjoyed it as much, or more, than we did too. We wish we had made the trip a little longer because we never got a chance to use the hot tub on the deck, or the fire pit, etc. We hope Jason’s family will have us again because we’re already dreaming about coming back again next summer!

This place was lovely! Super cozy, very well decorated, and hosts a wonderful view! Judi’s was kind, understanding, responsive, and all around a wonderful host. We came here for a friend’s birthday and he was blown away. Thank you for everything, and we plan to come again soon!

Michael's cabin is a great getaway from the noise and business of contemporary life.

We spent a couple days here for my birthday weekend, and it was really chill and quiet! The house itself is very cozy, extremely clean, and comes with all the basics you’d need for a weekend away. The hiking trails and views in the area are gorgeous. I will absolutely be revisiting this little spot!

This was our second stay at the property. Great place for our family to meet up and have quality time together. Great surroundings and love the pond. Rained most of our trip this time but was able to enjoy the enclosed patio so we could still feel like we were outside but under cover. We will be back again in the future.

Shanna's chalet was absolutely beautiful, the beach is just a walk away and everything about it was amazing to live in.

Myself and a few friends stayed at the cabin for a bachelor party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The cabin was reasonably priced and well located, with plenty of space for 8 guys (and probably 1-2 more). The hosts were detailed and responsive - we found everything we needed in the guidebook they provided. It was complete with detailed descriptions and how-to videos for the sauna and outdoor fire pit.

The cabin is warm, cozy and comfortable. It was a perfect location for a couples weekend. The kitchen is loaded with great appliances and tools so we had a great time cooking. The sauna and hot tub are an attractive addition too, we barely left the cabin all weekend. Thanks Jermaine!

We had such a nice family weekend at Eric and Kate’s house. The house was clean, beautiful and in such a great location. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at Edward’s place in the Catskills. The home is an architectural gem—beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly immersed in nature. It’s in a great location near restaurants and hiking, and also worked really well for a remote work day. Edward was incredibly helpful and responsive, and our whole family—from kids to grandparents—had a fantastic time.

The photos don’t even begin to do this place justice! There’s so much beautiful greenery and places to safely wander with friends on the property. There’s a few sweet towns and spots to check out nearby as well. We had a great time with the treehouse and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. It rained a few days we were staying, but the house was perfectly cozy for us and it didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. This place is amazing!

PoconoJo’s was an amazing house! I have very high standards and this house was an excellent place for our vacation. It was spotless, had very comfortable beds, beautiful design and layout with big windows and a huge deck to enjoy the outdoors. And the deck had great lounge and dining furniture. The amenities were great from the big things to little details - everything you needed to cook a great meal in the kitchen, laundry supplies, board games, a whole set of supplies for going to the beach on the lake (chairs, towels, cooler, etc). And the little things were there as well - extra sunglasses, reading glasses, pickleball equipment, etc. The neighborhood was so peaceful, and the home is in a great location- just minutes from downtown Jim Thorpe and outdoor activities (like biking and rafting). Mandy was a great host - we were celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday and she left a generous gift bag with flowers for when we arrived. It truly was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it!

Catherine was an exceptional host! She was very proactive in reaching out and communicating any and all things that would help make our stay more comfortable! I stayed at Catherine and Jay’s Chalet with my husband, 4 year old son, and our beloved dog. Their place allowed a type of calm, peace, connection, wonder and magic that we haven’t felt in a very long time! From the hot tub, to fire table, comfortable beds complete with cozy bedding, and all the thoughtful touches, we had every thing we needed! In fact, my son didn’t even want to leave the property the first full day we were there, because he had all that he desired at his fingertips! If we ever returned back to Tannersville, Catherine and Jay’s place will be our first stop! Thank you for everything!!

Our group at a great time at Nataliya’s in Hunter! The lake was absolutely the highlight, we made full use of the kayaks. Hunter itself is a little sleepy even when we went in May but we enjoyed exploring it and nearby Leeds and Tannersville.

We enjoyed our stay! The game room was really a the highlight for us. Whitney’s very responsive and made sure we had a great time during our stay! Definitely recommended !

We had the most amazing time while staying here! It is definitely one of our favorite family vacations and hope to stay again soon! The house was beautiful and has the most amazing view of the lake and mountains. We enjoyed spending our time at the lake during the day and then had a blast playing pool, games and watching movies on the projector at night

3rd times the charm!!! This was 3rd straight year myself & my crew(family), plus Charlie(Golden Retriever) have been to Alyson & Rob's house! Even though Mother Nature wasn't on our side all weekend, we still had an awesome weekend! Daytime down by the lake, then spending nights around the fire with a few cocktails is a great weekend! Rob & Alyson are quick with a reply to any questions! Looking forward to next year for Round 4! Highly recommend!

My friends and i had the BEST weekend at this home- would HIGHLY reccommend! Beautiful lake front with lots to do around! The hosts were attentive and wonderful to coordinate with. House was clean, and beautifully decorated. Lots of games to play inside and outdoor yard activities, perfect wor whatever kind of weather you may get during your stay. We had a wonderful time staying here! The fall foliage was beautiful, and it was still warm enough to take the boat out on the lake. Arek’s place had everything we needed. Great place for a Pocono getaway.

Fantastic house that was exactly as advertised! Very clean and everything was in working order. We had no issues to speak of and would rent this house again in a heartbeat.
