Our weeklong stay at La Commenda was truly amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home with its separate suites for our group. We were traveling with our three adult children - two of whom are married (and one of those has 2 young children). The pool and outdoor area made us feel like we had our own private spa to enjoy - But the real treat was having Luigina with us in the home making incredible authentic Italian meals. We all got teary saying our goodbyes. Luigina is a beautiful person inside & out who creates such a beautiful atmosphere around her meals. If you choose to stay here; you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to include Luigina in your plans! Nathalie and Filippo were more than mere hosts - they were quick with helpful tips and links and recommendations of what to do (and eat!) in this gorgeous part of Italy.

This was an amazing home to stay in. Dario was responsive when we had any questions regarding the recycling or pool. The home was comfortable and spacious. It looked even better than the pictures! The kids enjoyed the large backyard and pool so much on the days we weren’t out on excursions. There’s a grocery store right down the road where we stocked up on food and necessities. It was a beautiful oasis in a quiet area outside of Rome with easy access to the train stations etc. It was close to these amazing lakes we visited and the area turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

Great stay, thanks Meta Roma! Francisco and Maria were really responsive and the apartment was everything we needed. Good for transport links, restaurants and a great base for our time in Rome.

Nice, spacious house, surprisingly private. The house is a bit off the road in a small neighborhood with other houses. Locals, including Adriana (who welcomed us), live in the other houses.

The home is a charming mix of old world decor and modern amenities. Laura was the consummate host—very responsive, friendly and professional. The house is in a neighborhood, so you will hear barking dogs from time to time. There are two grocery stores a short walk away. And we found it quite easy to get wherever we needed to go from there in our rental car (for which secure parking was also available). Our only complaint was that the beds were too firm for our old bodies (all in our 70’s).

We stayed at Casale La Quercia for three nights, including New Year's Eve, and we couldn't have asked for anything better! The villa is stunning, in a very quiet area, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying time alone or with friends and family. Every detail has been carefully thought out, and the spaces are welcoming and impeccably clean. A special thanks go to the hosts, Mario and Valentina, who were exceptional. Always available, friendly, and attentive to every need. Communication with them was quick and efficient right from the first contact. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a special place to spend unique moments. We will definitely return, perhaps during the warmer seasons, to enjoy a different atmosphere.

Our stay at Loredana's villa was fantastic. Upon arrival we were surprised with a generous welcome basket, with delicacies and delicious wines. Loredana's mother was there to host us in a very warm way, she is really a treasure. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated, with a beautiful kitchen that is fully equipped. In addition to various beautiful seating areas in the house, you have access to three large bedrooms and 2 neat bathrooms. The garden is very beautiful and well maintained by her father. You also have several seating areas in the garden where you can relax. The pool is wonderful, everything is very clean. You can relax here in the beautiful surroundings. We spent a long weekend at this place for a wedding-ceremony with our families The place is a lot more beutiful than you are led to believe by the pictures, but to be honest the thing that really did it for us was the constant care of Valerie. She was fast to answer questions and extras before our stay there, but during the stay she and the rest of the staff was just great. All of us fel very welcome and everytime we asked for something it was met with a smile. We could truly focus on our families and our wedding and everything else was just fast and easily taken care. If I could give more than 5 stars to the hospitality, Valerie and the staff I would. We are just ever thankful!

The house is absolutely fantastic, nestled in the middle of olive trees with onbustructed views of the countryside and nobody else at sight! The house is cozy, familiar and everything is there to make you feel at home! Each room is spacious, clean and comfortable to enjoy magnificent Umbria! Flaminia is really helpful and Sergio’s occasional presence is very helpful! We seriously enjoyed our time at the house being a party of 6 with 2 kids! The garden and the swimming pool were absolutely superb! The overall experience was absolutely marvelous!

Couldn’t fault host nor house! Perfect place and perfect host! Had full family of six (14, 17, 19, 24 years old) and plenty to do and see. Highly recommend Bracciano Castle, eating in Travignano, walking up to the national park behind the house, swimming in the lake…and more. We intended to go to Rome, but we were glad to not to have to drive….and left it to do on our last day. It wasn’t long enough, but we had a good day in Rome and the train is very easy from the airport. Giorgia and Bechara were great. Very clear with everything and very warm and welcoming. Would love to go back.

Beautiful location. Great pool. Gorgeous garden. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Easy home to spend time in. Host was thoughtful, kitchen was stocked with essentials like coffee and salt etc. washing machine and dishwasher were efficient. Host was responsive. The area is very restful. Small shops nearby to purchase essentials. WiFi connectivity was excellent. Not too far from Rome. We had a great stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this villa, we had such amazing holidays with our family of 5. The surroundings are beautiful, the house is great and so comfortable. Alcide who cleaned the pool for us every morning was so friendly and helpful, and Gio (the host) was always available for any questions or recommendations. We will be surely coming back every year! Dream place!

We had a fantastic family stay at this villa! Mauricio was an excellent host, maintaining clear communication throughout our visit. His flexibility with our check-in was particularly appreciated; being able to settle in right after a 20-hour flight made a huge difference.

I cannot say enough about how perfect the property was for our family. Spacious, homey, the pool was amazing, and the ping pong table was a great addition for our kids! There were games, books, cards all available for our use. They connected us with a chef for a cooking class at the house that was incredible. They were quick to respond and help throughout our time. I am so grateful for our time there and would 100% recommend and return!

We weren’t disappointed when we approached S’farina down the long private cedar lined drive . Beautiful stone house over looking rolling countryside and picturesque local hill top village . Lovely terrace and gardens with fabulous infinity pool and pool house with shower:toilet and sauna ( we didn’t use as 37 degrees outside ! We were meet by Veronica who helpfully showed us to the location , she was helped with other few enquires . Well tended pool and gardens by friendly pool man . Inside fantastic characterful rooms and bedrooms all huge with high ceilings and beams . All rooms en-suite and with A/C which was so welcome ! Lots of seating areas outside for quiet reading but also lovely terrace at the back where we ate all our meals . Racquets and bats for a bit of fun in the cooler moments , only disappointment was the bikes weren’t in working order . Orvieto , cascade de la Marmore , Viterbo , Todi, Lake Bolsena all fab . We loved S’farina and would highly recommend it x

We had a great 2 week in Riano. Roberto listened to our requests and was extremely responsive. The villa is perfect, the pool is even bigger than in the photos, very well located but traveling by car is recommended! Shops are nearby for shopping, even as some small restaurants. Hoping to return as soon as possible to enjoy the charm of Italy.

I spent a wonderful weekend with ten friends hosted by Ferdinando and Ludovica: the house is spacious, well maintained and with all the comforts (I would just add the TV in the living room), rooms up to par, large and well-kept garden, fantastic swimming pool, barbecue. All immersed in the tranquility of the Roman countryside but still five minutes from the town of Campagnano for every need. Friendly and discreet hosts. Highly recommended.

A lovely property in a beautiful area. Sabrina and Antonio were really attentive and kind. Easily accessible by text and also prompt in coming round to solve a problem. Having 3 separate apartments worked well for the extended family and the ground floor was large enough for us to dine together. There are lots of places to visit including many beautiful hill top medieval towns. Antonio and Sabrina were very kind gifting some local Est Est Est wine and a cake for our special birthday. Little unexpected touches like these helped to make it a memorable stay. The weather was not on our side in the middle of April, rain and mist on several days, so it would have been nice to have somewhere inside for us to sit and relax together. A few comfy sofas would have been appreciated by older members of our group. You will not be disappointed with your stay here, no matter the weather!

This villa was just perfect for us for a delightful late August week. The view from the pool never grew old, just breathtaking rolling Umbrian countryside. A lovely quiet location, with loads of great Agritourism eateries nearby, and the delightful town of Narni a short drive away. The local host was great at ensuring our stay was perfect, giving us some great local recommendations. Plenty of space, effective air conditioning and comfortable beds - always important for us.

We had a family holiday and all of us had a really magical time. We were very lucky to have had wonderful weather, and the views on a sunny day were breathtaking. We have two young kids and they slept very well indeed in the comfy beds. There was plenty of space for all of us, and we really enjoyed having easy access to the wine from the vineyard as it was delicious. Finally, Livia was an amazing host. She did everything she could to meet our needs, including helping us with some shopping on our first day as our flight came in a bit late. Thanks you so much for being so flexible! We will definitely be coming again

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We were two families with girls 6-11 in age and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen, and lovely outdoor eating space. The pool was the best part. There were flowers around the pool and so many butterflies. It was gorgeous.
