Genuine Småland cottage near Lake Bolmen

Östergård is a house with history where you live comfortably but with old-fashioned charm. Lake Bolmen is a few hundred meters from the farm and within walking distance you can reach lovely beaches or the boat that you can borrow if you want to go out and try your luck at fishing. The house includes a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area, a large living room, a smaller room and a lovely veranda. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with four beds, bathroom and toilet.

Nice place to stay in a converted barn

Of course, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to meadows, forest and lake! In 2022, we started an exciting project to convert the barn on my grandfather's family farm into a luxurious holiday home. In May 2023, we finished one apartment and in the fall, the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the balcony in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Charging the car is included in the price.

Right in between “Astrid Lindgren's world” and “High Chaparral” this house is in a smaller community.(About 10 km to both) Here is a shop and a well traveled German restaurant, "Lieblingsplatz". Nice hiking areas and lakes. Boat and fishing licenses can be arranged to an extra cost. Winter time : slalom slope with a lift in Sävsjö. (2,5 miles) There is a dining chair, children. Sheets and towels are available to hire.

Little house by the lake Fiolen

Welcome to Åkhult and our small house located on our farm, 18 meters from our residential house. When you look out the window or door, you see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and fish. Around the lake, there is a small road of eight kilometers. Here, there are many who walk, run or cycle. No matter how you get around the lake, you'll get through two more villages. You walk through beautiful nature and can watch cows, sheep and horses. Welcome! Katja & Erik

Huset är på toppen av en kulle, omgiven av skog och med utsikt mot sjön. På den stora altanen njuter du av sol hela dagen. Det stora "skogsrummet" ger känslan av att vara i en trädkoja. Området är naturnära, stillsamt och barnvänligt. Badplatsen är nära och du kan ta långa promenader i skogen. Det finns möjlighet att hyra båt, kanot och köpa fiskekort. Huset är en bra utgångspunkt för utflykter till Astrid Lindgrens värld, Glasriket, den gamla trästaden Eksjö och flera vackra naturreservat.

Newly renovated cottage of 80 square meters that has recently undergone a total renovation. It accommodates up to 7 people, with beds in 3 bedrooms + a sofa bed with two beds. The cottage is located by a lake with a private jetty and wood-fired sauna (wood included) as well as a barbecue area to enjoy outdoor meals. The cottage has a patio on the front, a large balcony and a terrace where you can socialize, eat and sunbathe. Located about 15 minutes from Isaberg Mountain Resort.

Charming, peaceful and newly renovated two-storey house. Nice social areas with large windows facing the house's entrance side and the forest at the back of the house, which provides a bright and pleasant living environment. The house is about 100 sqm. Travel time to Värnamo is about 10 minutes by car and 5 minutes by car to the nearest grocery store (Coop) in Bor. It is also about 30 km to the national park Stora Mosse and 30 km to the theme park High Chaparral.

Lake House at Skälsnäs Mansion in Småland

On a peninsula of the famous Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich fish population, forests and an abundance of animals, we rent out a lake house directly on the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Wasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome, at a cost of € 12 per dog/night. A boat (4.5 hp motor) can be hired for €50/day including fuel. You can also rent our ‘Guesthouse’ (see there) and ‘Brygghus’ (see there), both with lake view.
