Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Swansea Bay

What an amazing place! This is something special. It is a beautiful thought out structure with spectacular furnishings and such a well designed space. Underfloor heating! That is a first for me and my partner and I loved it. The hosts kept the rustic look alive in how they designed it and even had a thatched roof!. Outside the cottage is a world of summer flowers, carefully attended by the older lady who lived in the adjoining cottage. Of course the hot tub and sauna were a great addition. I loved that they did not spare expense with the furnishings from the well designed dish drip tray to the fancy fan in the bedroom. We wish we could have spent more time here as after a few days travelling we spent one of our days lounging in the hot tub with a glass of champagne whilst listening to the constant bird chorus and watching the horses saunter around in adjoining fields. Really is a magical space. We loved it. Thanks Paul

We had a wonderful stay here - particularly with our two kiddos. The space felt comfortable, clean, and welcoming to children, with toys, a travel cot, high chair, and stair gate ready for our use! Our hosts were so kind and communicative - there was a low battery on one of the smoke detectors when we arrived, and Chris came out right away to fix it for us. We felt close to everything - the Mumbles pier, Joe's ice cream, Caswell Beach (among others!) and Clyne Gardens ... but still private and calm for early bedtimes. It was absolutely wonderful - we'd recommend it to anyone and would happily stay there again.

A lovely home & amazing location. Everything was extremely clean, and bed was very comfortable. Lots of amenities and essentials, made it feel like a home away from home. Extremely dog friendly, the garden was the perfect size for our chihuahua puppy. We would 100% stay here again.

No complaints, Abbie provided very clear instructions and excellent suggestions for the local area. We were staying for a sports competition at the local university which was less than 10mins away. Enjoyed looking at all the achievements Abbie has in Triathlon. The premises was clean, spacious and homely.

A perfectly located apartment for our weekend visit to Swansea. We didn’t spend very much time inside but when we did it was neat, tidy, clean and spacious. An amazing bonus was an off-road parking space. An absolute must in the Mumbles. Great hosts who were extremely responsive and happy to help at any time. We had a great stay. Thank you. 😃

Carolyn is a lovely host who made us feel very welcome and gave some good recommendations about where to eat, as well as telling us about the area. The appartment was perfect for two, although it could sleep four. The slightly quirky layout added to its character, while the garden was an additional plus.

The property was beautiful, clean and exactly as described. Everything you could need was provided and the communication and instructions were excellent. The property is very conveniently located but very close to the train station and a busy pub which wasn't an issue for me personally but is something people should be aware of when booking. Would definitely book to stay again!

We had a great stay in the mumbles, very convenient to the local amenities. good sized accommodation and dog friendly which is great!

Perfect location for those exploring Barry Island. Host were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was fantastic. Room was exactly what we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Garden was lovely for a coffee if a morning. We especially liked the free and included doggy cuddles. ❤️ The only downside was having to leave. Our stay was beautiful! The apartment was stunning, the pictures don’t do this interior justice. It was clean, warm and we had the best night sleep! There were so many lovely little editions for our kids too including colouring books, board games and beach toys. The local area was quiet but with the beach, a playground and restaurant on our door step, our first day meant we had everything we needed whilst we navigated the local area. The welcome book was really thorough as well! The pages on things to do was really helpful and we ended up going to dinosaur park for the day- a great choice! We would definitely recommend this apartment and location!

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We had an amazing long weekend break here. Pita communicated really well and her apartment was a home from home. Everything was here, from extra kitchen items ilke foil etc to shower gel and soap in the bathroom. The apartment was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh, it was the small things that made a big difference - like having fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee to make a cuppa as soon as we arrived and the welcome pack was wonderful, wine and nibbles went down a treat in the evening! The location is one of the best we have stayed in - ideal if you like swimming, surfing or paddleboarding. Having the lifeguards on the beach from 10am-6pm everyday gave reassurance too. Large sliding doors stayed open until well after 11pm so nice to listen to the waves! Thank you Pita for everything, it was lovely to meet you and we hope to be back next year.

Great spot to rest after a full days riding at bike park wales, hot powerful shower, and a comfy bed. Everything clean and tidy and as it says in the advert.

Absolutely loved staying at Melanie's flat. It was like a home away from home with anything you could possibly need - extra toilet rolls and cling film/tin foil! Even a brand new toothbrush if you needed it. She's really thought of everything! The place is lovely and spacious - decorated beautifully! And the bed is super comfy! Perfect for a good night's sleep.

This place is a hidden gem when you look for something peaceful. It’s a lovely space where you can really leave everything behind and just enjoy silence, nature and relax. House has got everything you might need for to stay with family or a friend. Close drive to lovely beach was a bonus!!

We loved our month long stay at the Cwtch! Cozy and clean and easy walking to both the local bus routes and into town. We appreciated the weekly linen exchange. Was a fabulous month!
