You’ll be staying in a charming historic townhouse in the lively Schildersbuurt neighborhood, just a short walk from Groningen’s city center, great restaurants, and the Noorderplantsoen park right around the corner.

Villa Selva: cosy cottage with spectacular view

Villa Selva is situated on our 1,5ha property on the edge of Loppersum. In this cosy cottage (the 'villa' of its name is slightly overstated) you'll find a living-/dining room, a small kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is one bedroom with one double and one single bed and the open attic has a second double bed. The cottage has small private terrace and garden facing south. On clear nights millions of stars twinkle overhead and the moonshine is so bright, you can read a book in it.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. It is one of the most beautiful places on the lake with the particularly beautiful evening sun over the beautiful Paterswoldsemeer. It is a rare and quiet place.

In this beautiful former town hall from 1896, the first and second floors have been attractively converted into an Airbnb. The large windows in the high spaces make it bright and sunny. The property is located in the center of the cozy village of Eenrum, 50 meters away from the supermarket, bakery and bar/cafeteria. In the bedroom there is a double bed and two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. For babies, a camping bed can be added if necessary.
