The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

Our favorite part of this house was the spectacular views, open environment, and comfortable chairs both inside and out. The house has a great feel to it, making us feel at home almost immediately. We also enjoyed how close it is to the walkway that goes along Ruston Way. Our family certainly wants to come back someday!

We had a wonderful stay at Reece’s place! We loved the MCM decor, king size bed in master bedroom, grocery store just blocks away, great walkable location and beautiful neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting us Reece!

Everything was exactly as expected based on photos and description. Savannah communicated well and the place was very clean. A short drive to University of Puget Sound and a Fred Meyer right down the street.

The home was great. Beautiful little oasis yard. Four of us fit well. It was hot but the apartment stayed cool with fans and air conditioner. No lack of amenities. Would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

We loved staying for the week at Tate's charming bungalow. The space is exactly as described. Immediately, we felt liked we'd come home to our own space. The house is incredibly comfortable and had all the necessary touches to make our stay comfortable. We loved the backyard area. Such a beautiful and quiet retreat to come back to after a day of exploration. Tate is a wonderful host, and we look forward to staying again on future visit's to Tacoma!

Living in Glennis house is by far the best experience I had! The house is clean and tidy. The beds are big and comfortable. I would be happy to come again if possible! Gennis is so nice we actually forgot something in the fridge and he kindly took them out for us! Highly recommended!

Beautiful place, my toddler loved all the ships in the port and all the planes that flew by. The house was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to the area.

This is a nice, well equipped basement apartment in a quiet area about a 30 minute drive to Seattle. Beds (2 bedrooms with one bed in each, plus an air mattress) are confortable but smaller than queen and tight for two people. The location is residential and fairly far from attractions but the price is a great value for the area making it overall a 5 star stay!

The home is beautiful and the space is well priced given the luxury finishing in the inside of the home and the prices in the area. Pene was extremely responsive and always communicated very quickly with any questions I had. He even brought me extra towels when I needed them. He also listed some great local eats and experiences which was very kind. I think anyone who visits would feel at home and appreciate the hosts’ responsiveness. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and the extra office space was great for me to get some work done away from my family watching tv and chatting in the main home. Having the garage was super convenient too for the car. I would gladly stay here again if I need a place in Tacoma.

The house was spacious and new. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were crisp and white. The bathrooms were very clean. All in all, beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood even though it’s on a main road. Ryan was very communicative. We had some issues but they were taken care of ASAP. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

my family and I had a great trip to Washington and this Airbnb definitely played a part. the views were amazing and the area felt private even though there were neighbors. the hoast was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. we had a larger family and everyone from the 10 month old to the 70+ felt right at home. there were a few stairs, but my aunt who just had hip surgery was able to make it to the top of the house a navigate around just fine. would definitely recommend this home.
