Apartment holiday rentals in Tamarack Surf Beach

We didn’t want to leave. This host is extremely thoughtful with all that you could use on vacation. My husband and my 15month old accompanied me on this adventure to the beach. Just a few blocks away we loaded up our wagon and just enjoyed all the great restaurants and activities around. Besides being the perfect location, this Airbnb was well stocked including a High chair and pack n play for the baby. No clutter around other than a few tasteful decorations we were able to put up so baby couldn’t reach them. The cleaners have done an amazing job at every inch of the home, to the extent that I felt comfortable with my infant roaming around. We will be saving this booking for future use because it was beyond my favorite place to stay. As per the host, they are responsive kind and understanding. Petrina’s place was very adequate, accommodations were as described. The location of the home is very quiet and peaceful, and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. We were grateful for the fans in each room and for the fully stocked kitchenette.

This was our second time staying at Seaside Villages. Super convenient location. A block from the beach and a block from Carlsbad village (dining, shops, coffee, etc.). Super clean and cozy. I needed to extend an extra night and host was quick to respond and accommodating. Will be back again next year!

Dan & Britt are very gracious hosts! They were proactive in reaching out to us to make sure we were comfortable and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their Airbnb was better than the photos and my family and I absolutely loved the views it offered as well as the neighborhood of Oceanside. The house itself was very spacious and clean. We had a chance to truly decompress for a couple of days! I would highly recommend a stay here and we plan on going back.

Such a great location and price for Oceanside. We are near major routes to everywhere that we wanted to go to, along with a hiking trail. We can hear traffic but it was never a nuisance. The condo is on the 2nd floor, no elevator but was not a problem for us. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/dishware but no pantry items. We were pleased with the dishwaher and W/D, and yes, there were detergent available. There was a new sofa bed, and TV with EASY to operate controls (thanks for not having multiple remotes!) There are 3 of us, 2 with low vision so we were extremely pleased with the layout (no Nic-nacs to knock over or excessive furniture to run into). Our hostess was the best, so responsive to all my questions!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The apartment was modern, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. Aubrey was an outstanding host—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. When I arrived in California earlier than expected, she graciously made arrangements for me to check in before the scheduled time, which was a thoughtful touch that made my trip even smoother. The location was perfect—just a short distance from the beach, with plenty of great eateries nearby. It was wonderful to have a hot tub available for relaxation, and parking on the premises made everything so convenient. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay with a host who truly cares about their guests! I loved the apartment so much I wanted to write a review the second day. If I’m ever back to Oceanview, CA, this apartment will always be first choice. Thanks Aubrey

We loved this place. Justin was very responsive and the place was furnished with new furnishings. It is just steps to the beach which is amazing and plenty of restaurants and 7-11 nearby. You’re close to the 5 freeway to get to Legoland and the 78 to get to the mall. It is also a 50 minute walk to the pier. Our dog also met a lot of other furry friends during our walks on this trip too which was an added bonus.

Judy’s place was great! Good size and the space was nice with two outdoor hangout areas. Stocked with everything you need!The location was walkable with the beach and the shops being so close.

Cindy’s place was an amazing home base for our weekend and Ironman race! Loved being able to walk to coffee, dinner, the beach. And it is right next to transition if you are here for the Ironman. The place was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and Cindy is an awesome host.

Just the perfect spot for our trip!! We truly enjoyed our stay, everything was beautiful and people were so so nice!! We really enjoyed the hottub and the pool, it wasn’t busy at all. The location was perfect for us considering we didn’t have a car so we walked everywhere. So close to the beach and to the harbour. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

Ava provided us with the most relaxing and fun stay. The place was very clean, cute, equipped, and functional while also in the best location just a minute walk to the ocean and super close to great coffee, the pier, and downtown. Check in and check out was extremely easy. The house is quaint and relaxing.

This was my first experience with an airbnb. it was absolutely awesome. Massah's place is great. I would definitely 100% book again if I'm every in Oceanside again. thank you for creating a space fit for my little family.

We LOVED this condo! The views are amazing! The place is clean and so cozy. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen that we've had in a rental. I especially loved the griddle and large pots! The owners are kind and responsive. The neighbors are also very nice. We did not want to leave. I hope we get the chance to come back!

We loved this place. even though it was cloudy and windy, the porch was our favorite place to be! We watched Sea Lions, seagulls, pelicans and surfers during our morning coffee and dusk wine sunsets. Location was also great, within 15 to 20 minutes we were able to explore so much during the 3 days we were there. If you can only do a couple of things I suggest spending a couple of hours at the Cabrillo National Monument $20 valid for 7 days, you can hike, visit the monument, light house, tide pools, visitor center, The view is spectacular! Then head to Old Town and ride the 2 hours trolley - hop on and hop off or enjoy the full ride. Mexican food galore or stop by Little Italy for some yummy pizza! It was our first time in San Diego, but we will be back for sure, and hopefully Rick's place will be available! also a bonus, you get to use the garage!

Amazing place to stay, everything was so clean. Elaine made it super easy to check in, she gave clear instructions about what she wanted you to do for check in/out. She also gave amazing recommendations to places around town and links and everything else. There is a cat outside that’s very friendly be nice to her.

Glad we found this place, it was perfect for an impromptu getaway for my husband and I!! We stayed here for a couple of days and we loved it. The place is nice and clean just as described in the pictures. The host was very friendly and provided all the necessary information in advance. We would definitely book this place again when visiting La Jolla.

Great place for our family of five. Plenty of beach toys to bring to beach. Plenty of towels. The king bed in the master bedroom was SO comfortable! We were able to cook dinner with everything in the kitchen easy peasy. The boardwalk was not loud at all per the previous complaints but we went during Christmas and new years. Very peaceful! Loved it!

We had a great stay! Dave and Sharon are wonderful hosts who helped us with lots of tips. Communication was very quick and easy. We can recommend the apartment and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

We loved staying here! The house was spotless, the grounds were beautiful, the amenities were great, the owner was helpful and responsive. Will book again!

Adam was an absolute lifesaver. After being left stranded by another host, I sent a last-minute request and he responded right away with kindness and professionalism. The home was immaculate, with so many thoughtful and charming touches that made me feel right at home. The space was quiet, the water pressure and temperature were perfect, and everything was just as described. There was a minor issue with a guest accidentally taking my parking spot, but Adam resolved it immediately—he was truly on top of everything. This stay turned what could’ve been a stressful night into a peaceful and welcoming experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend booking with Adam !

Staying at Jay and Erika’s place was a nice escape from the everyday grind. The super comfortable bed and relaxing hot tub were highlights for me. The place was a good jumping off point for exploring the beaches. I hiked Coronado beach, La Jolla beach and mission to Pacific beaches. Seaside pizza company near pacific beach was great NY style pizza—thin and crispy. Overall, this was a nice reset for me at a peaceful, comfortable spot in San Diego.

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.
