Beach cottage "Mäntylä" in Forssa

Beautiful, peaceful holiday destination on the shores of a lake with clear waters. The cottage has a living room with a kitchen in the same room. Next to the kitchen is a sleeping alcove with a 140 cm bed. There's a sofa bed for two in the living room. Upstairs, which is not full height, there are two mattresses. The living room has a fireplace and an air heat pump. The cottage has a wood-heated sauna, and the washing water heats up when the sauna is heated. Drinking and tap water comes to the yard. Composting toilet. Rowing boat and paddle board for the renter's use. Life jackets/buoyancy jackets are available for 20-90 kg.

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

The sauna building has a 2-person chamber with a 120 cm sofa bed. The beach is child-friendly and has a long, low sandy bottom. It is possible to rent a SUP board from €20 and a bicycle from €10

The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Cosy wooden cottage and sauna on the own beach in the middle of forest on the beautiful Hakolampi lake. The lake is deep and very good swimming place for person who can swim. It is calm and not windy and the water is soft and clean. One canoe is in use. Torronsuo and Liesjärvi Natural Parks are near and Forssa shops only 15 km away. See Finnish nature and pick berries and swamps just going out of the cabin. Good ways by car to the cabin. Wooden and gas grills. Indoor toilet, running water.

We are within walking distance of Lake Myllyjärvi and Backby Manor with its spa and restaurant services. On our farm, you’ll also find dogs, horses, a cat, and chickens. The cabin was originally designed by an architect family for themselves.

Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.
