Cabin amenities: a toilet that flushes in the bathroom and a washing machine. A quick wood-fired sauna in the sauna, and hot running water in the cottage. In the kitchen, for example, an oven, an induction stove, and a dishwasher. Air source heat pump with cooling.

Peace in the countryside in Somerniemi

In the courtyard of the farm, a granny cottage with amenities. From the cottage terrace, you can watch the horses and hear the donkeys greetings. In the summer, you can see the horse pastures from the clearing. The terrace has a new gas grill and furniture. There are also cats, dogs, sheep and a mini pig on the farm. You can get to know the animals with the help of the farm's staff. Near the cottage, there is a pond, not suitable for swimming (hummus water), a small yacht and a canoe available for guests. The pond is visible from the cottage's terrace. You can walk to the pond and see the scenery.

A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
