A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.

Peace, good feeling in the countryside

The log house has fresh air, you'll get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included, big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you (house rules).

Indoors, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a bright living area with a fireplace, and a kitchen with modern appliances. A separate sauna building with panoramic lake views adds a special touch. Local cafes, walking trails, and small museums are within easy reach.
