The listing has a private entrance from a big walled in garden with a patio pool area and bbq sitting area .The rooms include a full bath, kitchenette with microwave oven, two burner cook top, fridge, coffee maker etc The large living area has a sofa area large tv desk area for work and a Queen bed at the other end. see pics!

It is small, cozy and features everything you need for a comfortable stay: a queen bed, fully equipped kitchenette, minifridge, hot running water, heater, AC and a private bathroom with toilet and shower. We have a dining place with table and chairs set up outside. For cooler nights we'll provide a heater and a down comforter to keep you warm.

Phenomenal location. Felt like I was on a ranch (peaceful, beautiful private) but was just a few 100 yards from a major street so I could get everywhere I needed to go easily. Casita had everything I needed for a 3 day stay. Great hosts. This is the kind of Airbnb I like—real home, not an overly polished/generic commercial space like so many have become. The casita is a very spacious 1 bedroom. Excellent value.

I will start off by saying the host’s communication was excellent- very timely which is important if you have questions/ concerns. He even checked in a few times during my stay asking if there was anything I needed and to reach out if so- that was awesome! When I first entered, I immediately felt safe and at home. EVERYTHING was welcoming and cozy. Bowl of fresh fruit on counter, lights on, comfortable temperature, coffee/ tea station, etc. Absolutely darling decor! So many little extras and bonuses including washer/ dryer., shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash dispensers in shower, iron, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable- It was quiet, private and the sitting porch just so inviting and cozy. I honestly just loved everything about it and this will definitely be my “place” to stay (if available of course) when I visit my son in Tucson! Excellent home, excellent hosts!! Highly recommended!!!

This is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed. It was exactly what we needed and wanted. My boyfriend and I were in AZ to visit my father after his heart surgery and this was the perfect solace for an emotional trip. We had plenty of space and privacy which was very important to us. This was our second stay at Matt's great casita. Our first stay was last year for two weeks. This year it was for a whole month which, if you think about it, is the best kind of endorsement a lodging place can receive. If we can return to Tucson next year this will be our first choice for accommodation.

We had a great time at this spot! You can walk directly into saguaro national park, which made for some peaceful hikes. We loved the friendly dogs on the property and the eclectic yet very comfortable interior. The host left a lot of nice little touches and overall it was a very comfortable place to stay. We would happily return next time we come to Tucson!

Buckshot Bunkhouse *Renovated bedrooms & bathrooms

This is one of my favorite places to stay. I absolutely love my two months at Anna and Matt’s lovely bunkhouse! Guests that visit me while there are always very positive about the bunkhouse, the amenities, and the surrounding grounds. Being in the northeast corner of Tucson, means I’m close to Sabino Canyon, Saguaro Nat’l Park East, and Agua Caliente Park. There’s plenty of hiking close by. There’s also grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, restaurants, etc close by. I love that the neighborhood has a semi-rural feel and that I’m able to see wildlife out of the large windows of the bunkhouse. The neighborhood is safe and is lovely to walk around. Anna and Matt are excellent hosts! They are great communicators and are thoughtful and helpful if a question or need arises. They are also wonderful people with a lovely family. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

The Desert Escape

This is a lovely home located in a very quiet neighborhood. Big, beautiful backyard on a corner lot. The living room/kitchen/dining area is huge and was great for our family during our stay. If you want to cook while you are staying there, you will find everything you could possibly need - very well stocked with glassware, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc. Jon was super responsive and present for anything we needed and accommodated requests with prompt friendliness, which was so appreciated by our group. This was a great stay and a convenient location to everything the East side of Tucson has to offer! We'd stay again in a heart beat. Thank you Jon for sharing your little slice of Tucson heaven!
