Lovely spacious apartment with excellent hosts - thank you for a great stay.

We had the best stay at Raquel's place in Pedras D'el Rei. The complex the apartment is on is ideal, with a lovely pool and shop and restaurant all on site. The staff at the complex are so helpful! The apartment is clean, bright and really tastefully decorated. The river and beach are stunning and so conveniently located - we felt very "in" the surrounding nature. It was also really easy to get around using uber, from the airport and to local spots like Tavira, if you are just staying for a short while and don't have a car! Raquel was the perfect host, very contactable and helpful. We loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Nice Portuguese traditional house. Well located in Cabana. A great village. It's big so some areas should have a face wash. Some quite antique furniture. and a shared garden. The worst were the pillows, very soft and barely stuffed. We were all prevented from getting a good rest.

I booked this villa for a group of 15 of us and I am so glad I did it was absolutely perfect. Carmen is a really wonderful host she went above and beyond to answer all my requests for local recommendations and was always super speedy in her response. It was really easy to get to the villa from faro airport and Ubers are easy to find. A member of our group had a car so we were able to drive to the nearest supermarket as this isn’t walkable but they have uber eats in the area or you could order a taxi to the supermarket it’s not too far. The villa is even nicer than the pictures. The gardens are lovely and the terrace and pool are really gorgeous. We had the pool heated and it was a perfect temperature. Carmen also had many Lilos etc which were great. Inside the house all the bedrooms are en suite and have aircon. The kitchen has everything you could need and there’s even a second fridge in the dining room. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking to travel as a group to this area.

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

Very nice stay in a quiet neighbourhood in Cabanas which is a small resort on the Algarve. The apartment is exactly as pictured, supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops are in walking distance. Carolina is a responsive and friendly host, everything was stress free and without any glitches. Many thanks for hosting us!

Teresa's place is a very cozy apartment in the heart of a holiday home complex. It is clean and tastefully decorated, you really feel right at home. Teresa was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment really has everything you could need. From the more than adequately equipped kitchen, to helpful beach accessories to games and sand toys....It's clean and we got fresh towels and linens at half-time even for 14 days stay! The holiday complex is very well maintained, large but still familiar and equipped with everything you need. Pool, restaurants, small supermarket, laundromat... and a reception that can be reached 24/7. The best part of the place is the beautiful swimming beach! There are restaurants, toilets and rentable loungers as well as areas for free loungers. It is reached on foot or with an old stroll! (free). The train was a highlight for our 2 year old and us every day

Our second stay here, the host is very communicative and accommodating, the house is in a wonderful location close to one of the most beautiful beaches with everything you need for a lovely stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

Jonathan & Sandra were fantastic hosts. swift and responsive from first enquiry to check out. very considerate hosts, gave local recommendations and provided flexibility. . Everything we needed there, and assistance was available through Greet who met us on arrival and departure and kindly brought additional equipment (scales and large mixer) to us to bake cakes, even bringing extra games suitable for our disabled child. Discreet and also available for anything we needed. The villa was beautiful, the surroundings and grounds breathtaking. Shops a 5 minute drive and all we wanted to see was within 30 minutes, although mainly stayed in and soaked up the serene magic of this location. we didn't hire a car, we used Uber which was easy, reasonable and straightforward. 5 euros to the local supermarket, 15-20 euros to the mar shopping complex, 25 euros to Tavira. An incredible place, wonderful hosts and a firm favourite with our family. thank you so much for everything. ❤

This is one of those gems on Airbnb! This place is just wonderful. The whole place feels like you stay inside a tropical garden, and has a lot of places where you can sit and relax. The appartment is very clean and has anything you need and even sharp knives, but also coals for the bbq. Mario even offered to buy some groceries because we arrived late. The location is close to various small villages which makes it ideal to stay. The wifi in the appartment is also really good. As for Mario and the friendly German man who also lives there(we forgot his name), they are very friendly and super helpful if you need anything. We could even pick anything from the garden (onions, tomatos, courgette etc) All in all we would highly recommend! Regards Suzanne & Roderik

We had a three day stay here in March. Excellent check in with Sue and the wine and water was a nice touch and the heating was on which was a bonus! The house would have been cold without heating on during our stay. Really handy location near to shops and restaurants . Easy to park nearby free of charge. Lovely squares nearby and excellent food and wine - we headed to a few other towns near by and called in to Faro. Really enjoyed the ambiance in Tavira would recommend !! Didn’t do any cooking during the stay.

We absolutely love our stay! Location was 10 min walk to golf course (with golf clubs in the unit to use!) SO many VERY GOOD restaurants within 10 min walk. Waterfront is 25 min walk—even more options!! Loved it so much we are looking to return next year!

Very good experience. The apartment is in a good location and Avelino told us about the typical places and recommended visiting a town next to Tavira and it did not disappoint.

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.

Paula welcomed us very warmly late. It was a great stay in an authentic home. We had enough space and it had everything you need every day. Very lovingly furnished. The location is also really great and central. There is also a bike rental just around the corner. During our travel time in December, it was quite cold in the house in the evening and we had to turn on the fireplace every evening and get wood for it ourselves. There is a small electric heater in the bedroom.
