Beachfront holiday rental in Tavira

We had the best stay at Raquel's place in Pedras D'el Rei. The complex the apartment is on is ideal, with a lovely pool and shop and restaurant all on site. The staff at the complex are so helpful! The apartment is clean, bright and really tastefully decorated. The river and beach are stunning and so conveniently located - we felt very "in" the surrounding nature. It was also really easy to get around using uber, from the airport and to local spots like Tavira, if you are just staying for a short while and don't have a car! Raquel was the perfect host, very contactable and helpful. We loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Ana was very helpful when there was an issue with the wifi, very grateful. She was also very flexible with check in and check out since it was possible during the time I stayed there.. The apartment was very spacious and clean, comfortable to stay during the bad weather. Everything you need to cook was available with a lovely welcome basket when I got in. Didn’t get to experience the balconies due to the poor weather but they were both very large and looked lovely. Comfortable bed, and quiet room. Overall great stay.

Teresa's place is a very cozy apartment in the heart of a holiday home complex. It is clean and tastefully decorated, you really feel right at home. Teresa was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment really has everything you could need. From the more than adequately equipped kitchen, to helpful beach accessories to games and sand toys....It's clean and we got fresh towels and linens at half-time even for 14 days stay! The holiday complex is very well maintained, large but still familiar and equipped with everything you need. Pool, restaurants, small supermarket, laundromat... and a reception that can be reached 24/7. The best part of the place is the beautiful swimming beach! There are restaurants, toilets and rentable loungers as well as areas for free loungers. It is reached on foot or with an old stroll! (free). The train was a highlight for our 2 year old and us every day

Great place to stay for a peaceful time in Tavira. East access to the main town as well as Faro or Fuseta. Great restaurant less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

We a great time in Santa Luzia and really enjoyed staying in Anne’s apartment. The location is fantastic, right next to the harbour and easy walking to a number of restaurants, bars, cafes and the local mini supermarkets. The balcony has great views over the harbour and estuary, the tide coming in and out constantly changes the scenery. Take a pair of binoculars to spot much of the local bird life that descends when the tide goes out. The balcony is south facing and is a sun trap with a table and four chairs, so nice place for breakfast and lunch, or a beer or two! There is also a large outdoor corner sofa that is very comfortable and is good for sunbathing. We stayed in late April and on the whole the weather was perfect. You can catch a bus more or less right out the front door to Tavira and visit the beach by small train to Barril beach or catch the water taxi. All in all we really enjoyed our time in Santa Luzia.

Very nice and cozy place. Very good communication from Catia on the accomodation process a lot of useful tips what to do around the place. Few minutes walking distance from the ferry to the Fuseta beach, restaurants, shops and supermarket close to the place. Spacious terrace for a nice breakfast, dinner or a night sky and stars watching. Air condition in the bedrooms very useful to cool the bedrooms. Great experience overall.

It was wonderful from start to finish. It was exactly what it said it would be. The house was clean , well presented with all that you need in terms of kitchen utensils and crockery . The roof terrace was amazing with a covered seating area, large table and bbq. The local area was super easy to navigate, all on the flat and the square with an abundance and variety of restaurants was a hop, skip and a jump from the front door but far enough away that it wasn’t noisy. A local shop had all you needed and there was a fish and vegetable market a short walk away. The bikes, beach chairs and parasol were a great addition. Will be heading back next year.

Great place. Perfect location to make the most of cabanas. Nice restaurants nearby. Nice view from the apartment. Perfect place to spend pleasant holidays in cabanas. We do not recommend it!

Very happy with my stay. Apartment was perfect for my needs. No complaints at all. Location was perfect for what I needed.

From 05.06.-12.06. wonderful facility, very sweet and nice hosts. The pool is beautifully maintained and very well kept, the cooking skills of the two are phenomenal. We enjoyed the food very much and of course not to forget, the delicious sugar cane juice (organic) and the own herbs on the property, we would give 10 stars, always happy to come back

A beautiful villa with a huge pool surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kids loved exploring & the hosts were very responsive with a few issues which arose. We would love to return!

Paulo’s place was perfect for us. The apartment is well equipped and has a fantastic view of the Ria. The pictures don’t do the apartment full justice and it is very modern and bright and welcoming. Being able to use the Golden Club pool was a great advantage with a 12 year old, as was being able to use the free boat over to the beach. Cabanas itself is a short walk which was pleasant on the evening. We would definitely book again - thank you for a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, Rosa was very accommodating and friendly, when we arrived she gave us a full tour. The accommodation and surrounding land is stunning, such beautiful views from our villa. The pool was such a nice addition. Plenty of seating around the pool. The local village Tavira is a lovely place to visit, and only 10 mins by car. The villa is very private and remote. And the river/lagoon is a short walk to enjoy - there are many crabs to watch too! We found our time here very peaceful and enjoyable. We barely encountered other guests, it was so quiet. Our coffee machine stopped working during the time, and Rosa came straight round with a replacement. She is a credit to the accommodation!

Our stay was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend this place! The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, with a high-quality feel. We loved the spacious balcony/terrace and the comfortable beds. What really made the difference, though, was our host – incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always available when needed. We felt very welcome and truly well taken care of. The location was also convenient, with quick access to supermarkets and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed our stay

We stayed in this pretty townhouse with our 2 children. Ideal for a family in the center of Santa Luzia. You can park easily near the property. Location is close to Tavira and amenities or activities. The shops in the city are good for a short trip. The house is perfectly equipped and the terrace is a very nice plus! It feels like home. We'll be back.

The apartment is part of a larger building with multiple apartments. It is located on a corner. It's quiet in this building. There is an air conditioning that is also heated if you have to , which was nice because it unfortunately rained a lot. The apartment is located directly on the nature reserve, within walking distance of the boulevard, shops, restaurants and bars. We had a great time.

Very warm, nice welcome from Leonie and Gert upon arrival. You feel immediately at home in the apartment. Well equipped and very clean. The underground parking space and the provision of chairs and umbrella for the beach are great. You always have the option to write a message with any questions and get a quick response. We highly recommend Leonie and Gert as hosts.

We loved our Stay at Scott’s place. His apartment is spacious, clean and only 100 metres walk to the 1st resort swimming pool where you can eat decent food and delicious Algarve orange juice if you like. The resort itself is a nice place to be and all the staff were very helpful. The closest beach and other restaurants/bars are just a short walk away. Yes the bed is comfortable and big. Would come back!

Thiis was an ideal location for us. So close to the boat to the beach, restaurants, several supermarkets and to the lovely off the beaten track little places that the locals go to. We loved Tania's apartment and hope to return. It was so cosy and comfortable and felt very homely, just as the pictures show, not like some of the other tourist accommodations we have stayed in, in the past. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The white bed linen was a real treat!! We slept amazingly well as it was very peaceful and quiet throughout the night. A great find and Tania was a lovely host who was there in person to greet us.

We stayed one week in Emmanuelle’s apartment. It is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The outside terrace was an added bonus and we felt very secure in the complex. A few minutes walk to the main street which had plenty of restaurants and bars. Also you can got a boat from here which brings you to the beautiful beach. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

We booked 10 nights in this accommodation 2 people ..everything was exactly as described location was perfect . All local restaurant's and beach a stones throw away from apartment 5 minute walk to bus stop which brings you to local train station or same bus to tavira centre ..we loved this apartment and would highly recommend a booking 10/10 Would definitely go back and use this accommodation again it was perfect .
