Waterfront holiday rentals in Tavira

we can thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to explore Eastern Algarve and at the same time be close to a magnificent Atlantic beach. Cabanas is a lovely town with plenty variety of eating places and Carmen a very welcoming and helpful host.

We had a great week at Karl's place. Rosa is often on site and super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is on a great and extensive area, there are various animals. You hardly notice anything from the other guests. Unfortunately, the first few days were a little cold with us, but we got a small electric radiant heater. The apartment is neatly equipped and in good condition. Thanks for the nice week 😊

Nice space and very well maintained. The host is extremely nice. It's a little bit far from the center, however, there's a lot to visit. I visited multiple beaches and islands such as Tavira Island and Armona Island, which are wonderful. I loved the stay.

Lovely area. The board walk is stunning. Local restaurants and bars. All reasonable and typically Portuguese. Indoor swimming on the complex was perfect. Wonderful weather.The free boat ( just 3 minutes) to a stunning long private beach really was the icing on the cake. Pedro helpful and replied promptly to texts. We used bikes free of charge. Alexandre and his mother are very friendly and always willing to help, the location is perfect, the only thing that has made a difference for us was the refrigerator, it is the smallest that exists so it is not possible to take food.

Well renovated and useful apartment, great host, just the neighborhood a little... old and on the side of the road, but fine, he left us nexpresso coffee with capsules and the house was super clean

Lovely traditional house within very easy, flat walking distance of Tavira town centre and the many restaurants there. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great patio space for al fresco dining/sunbathing and useful touches such as extra large beach towels. View from the front is of car repair garage across the road but this really doesn’t matter as the patio is at the rear. Although we didn’t have chance to meet them David and Megan were very communicative hosts. All in all a great place to stay to easily enjoy all that Tavira has to offer.

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

We felt very comfortable in the House at the Ria, location and amenities are perfect. The extras like parasols and electric juicer were very helpful and are not a given. The view from the wide-open panoramic window is fantastic. We really appreciated the convenience of the tickets for parking and the train to the beach. Isabel is an excellent and extremely helpful host.

Great place to stay for a peaceful time in Tavira. East access to the main town as well as Faro or Fuseta. Great restaurant less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

This place is fabulous - the location is exceptional and the patio is spacious and overlooks the river. We spent every evening out there and ended up having more meals at home we liked it so much. Check in and check out was smooth and communication during our stay was great. We had an issue with the dishwasher (turned out to just be user error, our bad) and Ines came over the same afternoon to fix it. We were travelling with two infants and the house had not one, but two high chairs! Total bonus! Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Very nice and cozy place. Very good communication from Catia on the accomodation process a lot of useful tips what to do around the place. Few minutes walking distance from the ferry to the Fuseta beach, restaurants, shops and supermarket close to the place. Spacious terrace for a nice breakfast, dinner or a night sky and stars watching. Air condition in the bedrooms very useful to cool the bedrooms. Great experience overall.

Small haven of peace with a beautiful garden. Very good welcome by Annabella and the lovely elderly owners. Close to Tavira and Olhea and beautiful beaches.

Very warm, nice welcome from Leonie and Gert upon arrival. You feel immediately at home in the apartment. Well equipped and very clean. The underground parking space and the provision of chairs and umbrella for the beach are great. You always have the option to write a message with any questions and get a quick response. We highly recommend Leonie and Gert as hosts.

What a pleasant surprise! Cabanas de Tavira is a lovely place . We loved the beach, specially with kids, lots of shells and very calm ocean. My girls loved the swimming pool, and the apartment is walking distance to the restaurants and shops for a night stroll. We would definitely return. One of the nights my girls wanted to watch the evening show from the hotel, a bit pricey to what it is, but apart from that everything was great!

Everything is perfect, the apartment is identical to the photos and with everything you need to spend the days. Amazing pools, nice and quiet. The only thing to note would be that it had no oil and salt, nothing important. I would repeat.

The apartment was perfect for a stay with our 8 month old, had 2 bedrooms, high chair and even some toys which he enjoyed! The pools were lovely, and the ability to walk to lots of places to eat and drink was great, also lots of takeaway options on Uber eats! Made our evenings nice and relaxing after the baby went to bed. You had to take a boat to the beach, which with a baby was a bit daunting, but when you got there it was very well set up with a board walk for the buggy the whole way to the sun beds basically The stairs down to the apartment were a bit annoying with the buggy, would have been handy to exit the apartments at the gate we could clearly see at the end of our row of apartments, but not too much of a problem Nice to have the place cleaned half way through, kitchen well stocked with everything you’d want

Cabanas is a lovely resort and the apartment is perfect, the location and the view from the terrace is perfect. It is spotless clean with everything you need. We would definelty stay here again. The booking, communication and check in all went very smoothly.
