A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

A beautiful home away from home. We found it very spacious & roomy. Large bedrooms & large main bathroom upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen for any cooking needs. The outdoor area was lovely with a pool & outdoor seating with nice established gardens very peaceful. Easy to access once we arrived & close to everything like a bakery, NW supermarket, Upper Hutt town centre etc. I would definitely recommend this house to any family it was fantastic & we had a really nice time there. I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

This was the perfect home for our wedding party to get ready for our daughter’s wedding at Rose and Smith, and to come home to after the wedding. Both Shannon and Issy were so helpful and quickly responded to questions and the extra help we needed. I definitely recommend staying in this beautiful home.

The place feels like home with all the details and decorations from the owner. We absolutely love it! We also appreciate the personal recommendations on restaurants and cafes around the area. The rooms were warm and the beddings were very comfortable, which was a bonus point!

We have stayed at this place on a couple of occasions. Not only is the view beautiful but a comfortable clean environment with comfortable beds and an excellent host. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Our son daughter-in-law and grandson loved the home from home experience. Great for location being near our daughter and shops in Newtown. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be available for our next NZ visit probably 2027. We will use it for ourselves as it was so much better than the place we stayed in. All the facilities we needed. Big enough for the family to get together and enjoy a family meal. The garden was a bonus. Just keep doing what you are doing.

I had the loveliest stay at this bnb! It's located in a beautiful area, close to the sea and to delicious cafes in Island Bay. The flat itself was clean and comfortable and has everything you could need, including a gorgeous deck area. Haley and Anton were both incredibly kind and helpful hosts. I highly recommend this stay!

Ben was a fantastic host, responsive and welcoming. The property was ideal for a short stay in Wellington being located a short walk from the bustling Cuba Street. all essentials were provided and the property was clean. Overall a great stay and I would recommend

My husband and I loved this place! Hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and that is saying a lot. We took the bus to go downtown which was easy and inexpensive. We walked in the native gardens right next to the property. We walked to the grocery. Even though we had a car we never needed it. The porch was our favorite place and we sat and watched the birds. So peaceful and seemed worlds away from the city. Highly recommend this beautiful home and grounds.

We had a wonderful weekend with family, staying at Julie’s house. There were 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 with great views. Everything was really clean and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had lots of instructions. Julie communicated well before our check in. Parking directly opposite was a bonus. For anyone with mobility issues, just be aware that there are steps up to the entrance, and living / sleeping is on 2 floors.

We loved our time here. Beautiful waterfront location, bountiful back garden, comfy beds, and generously equipped, for a family of 5 to have an enjoyable stay.

Amazing place feels like it’s on the edge of the world. We were lucky enough to see the aurora here! Fantastic shower, comfy beds, quick and effective heating. Will be back.

We had such a good stay! Felt right at home and the extras for the kids were amazing. Having the central heating meant we didn't have to worry about what the temperatures were in the kids rooms and everyone slept well. Comfortably accommodated us, our two small children and my mum. Would definitely stay again!

This apartment is such a nice tidy place. Has everything you need and is perfect for when I travel away for work.

We really enjoyed our stay, right at the top of the hill with a bit of a winding steep road - it was lovely and quiet with a stunning view, the beds and pillows were the best and comfiest we have ever had at an Airbnb!! The place had everything we needed for our short stay and looked just like the photos. Emma very kindly allowed us to have an earlier check in time so we could drop off our luggage and go explore Wellington. The only thing we would suggest is bring warm slippers in winter because the bathroom floor is freezing! The upstairs has a heat pump and the bedrooms have heaters so kept us cosy. We would definitely recommend this place to others and stay there again next time. Thank you Emma!
