Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Temagami

We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

We all had a fantastic time!! Our lodging was great!! Location was perfect for snowmobiling. Pictures can’t capture the beautiful log cabin!! We were so pleased to find that we had everything we needed and then more. A very user friendly home, with better than standard kitchen needs. We will definitely be booking next year for snowmobile season

Great place, very clean and has everything you need. Couches and bed were comfortable and in a great location! This is our second time staying here. Also, Adam is great and very responsive to needs. Would recommend to others.

Lovely house & nice yard. Scenic location near the lake. Clean, well run and a generously stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and obviously put in a lot of work and pride in renting the property.

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

Gemma house was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and felt like home. I definitely will be back!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights. Quiet and peaceful. Even though it’s located in a neighbourhood of cottages, it was still very private at this time of the year. The kitchen is well-stocked with spices, cooking oils, pots and pans. The view from the dock and the upper deck are beautiful, could stare out at the lake for hours. I’ll definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The place was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. Only negative was we couldn’t find the gray bin mentioned for recycles. Otherwise I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to wind down and relax.

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

The layout is a bit unconventional but clean and quiet. Much better than many hotels in Sudbury.

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!

My in laws stayed at her Airbnb and loved it. They said that the place was clean and cute. Alicia allowed us to visit there and I could see why they loved the place. She was very responsive and friendly. When they had problem locking the door, she changed the lock's battery as soon as she could. They said they would love to book her place again 😀 Highly recommended !!!

Angela is very friendly and offers her dog Millie if you need company on your walks - lovely dog. Angela went above and beyond bringing extra groceries for an already well stocked Airbnb. Thank you Angela. I’ll probably be back.

A cozy and clean cabin with everything you need ! I loved watching the birds through the back window each morning. Very peaceful. Janice is a great host, I would stay again !

Jason and his wife, Candice were very friendly hosts. The cabin was everything Jason described it as. He even gave my some extra blankets to keep myself warm at night, and made sure in general that I was happy with my stay. I’d definitely 10/10 come back!

Found Mike's place very last moment for a weekend getaway and it was everything I could have wanted and more! Mike was super kind and accommodating to our late arrival. He came and met us first thing in the AM and showed us around. The cabin was clean, beds were cozy, and that front bay window gives such an incredible view of this lake. The outdoors, absolutely speechless. The water was crystal clear, great fishing off the dock. Perfect fit any water activities you are looking to do. The neighbours were super friendly, and we felt right at home. We will be back 100%

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous cottage! The decor is beautifully done, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere that instantly feels like home. It was the perfect place to unwind after an exciting hockey weekend—plenty of space for the kids to have fun while the adults relaxed. Everything was well thought out, from the comfortable furnishings to the little details that made the stay extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

I can't thank Tiffany and Pat enough for being amazing hosts and helping me through a difficult time. I stayed there on two separate occasions. The location of the house is right on the lake and sitting and watching the sun rise was beautiful. Narrows Convience Store is down the street and so is Mikisew Provinvial Park. The house has all the amenities (more than any other Airbnb I have stayed at). I would rats it more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks again so much!

This North Bay cottage was everything I needed—peaceful, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The space had real warmth to it, and you can tell it’s cared for with intention. But the real gem? Matthew. Hands down the best host I’ve ever dealt with—super responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares. That kind of energy is rare, and it made the whole experience even more special. Would 100% come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reset, a recharge, or just a damn good time in nature.

Great place to chill out for a few days. The cottage and surroundings were quiet and beautiful. As for the hosts, Tina was really nice and easy to communicate with and her recommandations made everything easy. I highly recommend her and her husband’s cottage!

We stayed for the May long weekend and had a fantastic time. Dave was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The cabin was clean and had everything you would need. Its location is perfect for boating and fishing, also super easy to access off the highway. Dave was a great host, happy to talk and give advice on where to fish, and his fish fry tastes so good. Would definitely recommend his cabin.
