Stylish Pin Mill Boathouse - Stunning River Views

The Blackhouse Boatshed is a stylish new small house boasting stunning panoramic views over the boatbuilding and sailing hamlet of Pin Mill and the famous Butt and Oyster pub. Designed and built by local architects and craftspeople, the house is a perfect base for couples, close to the waterfront and in the heart of beautiful Suffolk countryside. There is a fantastic choice of walks, cycling, and horse rides, as well as opportunities to get onto or into the water or stay in and be cosy.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Walton Beach Hut Available For Day Hire Only

PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO LEAVE THE HUT CLEAN AND TIDY FOR THE NEXT GUESTS AS I DONT ALWAYS CHECK THE HUT DAILY, THE CLEANING FEE HAS BEEN REMOVED TO REFLECT THIS, THANK YOU! Sandy feet retreat is available for day use on the day it’s booked only, no over night stays are allowed. The beach hut will be available from 8am-8pm on the day of booking. The padlock code to gain access to the beach hut will be given to you on the evening before your visit. This is changed regularly.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

Boutique countryside cabin

Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Back in Thyme

In the heart of the Constable Country, on the Essex Way, nestled amongst farmers fields and woodland you will find our newly opened shepherds hut, Back in Thyme. A perfect balance of rustic and contemporary, Back in Thyme provides a rural get away with all the modern comforts. Smart TV, heating, power shower and plenty of parking. It is positioned 5 minutes from an A12 link, 10 minutes from Colchester town and less than an hour from London.

The Millhouse Lodge

Light, bright outhouse conversion with private mostly dog proof garden, private entrance and dedicated off street parking. Ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. This accommodation is in a rural residential area ideal for peace and quiet. Please can we ask that you cover the sofa with your own blankets to minimise dog fluff! Many thanks.

Kerry’s garden cabin

Welcome to my cabin, set in the garden. Access to cabin through side gate/garden. Sleeps 2 on a double bed. Attached to the house is convenient use of your own downstairs shower room/toilet & kitchen area. Cabin is also a games room so guests have use of table tennis, football table, dart board and games. Parking in road just outside house.
