Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Texas

Location was great! Very quaint area tucked in behind the main strip. Walkable to all the little shops and restaurants for the most part. It was just what we were looking for on our weekend getaway. We were a bit disappointed by how dirty/slimey the hot tub was and how dirty the patio furniture was, but overall we had a very pleasant time. We just were not able to enjoy the patio as much as I had hoped given the price point. Communication was excellent and checkin was very easy.

It was perfect and a place where you can recoup and restore. I loved it the cleanness and the placement of it was perfect and I love how the gym was right next to it! Recommended place for anyone to stay for sure !

A great place for a family stay. We loved the layout and style of the home. Everything you need for a home away from home holiday. Gun barrel city is a great town that is really close by. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. Well thought out property

What a fun, clean, great place! Loved having the pool that was CLEAN. Getting to and from was a breeze and far enough away to enjoy the country sounds of *no cars*, but still close enough to town to get to the grocery store, places to grab a bite to eat or shop! Gracious host, very well stocked with the simple things, most overlook, like toilet paper and dish soap! Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would certainly stay here again. The river is beautiful! Can spend all day walking down it and watching the fish and large variety of birds! A really great spot for skipping rocks and just enjoying nature!

The house was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. We caught a bunch of different types of fish off the dock. This was our third time staying at this house and we will be back!

Robert’s place is among the best that I have seen and may be my overall favorite. The home is better than the pictures. It would be difficult to find a better location along with the total peace and privacy of Robert’s home. The home is very clean and beyond well stocked. You will immediately feel at home. The backyard is peaceful and totally private and the pool is one of the nicest you’ll find (large and deep). Above all of that, Robert is the best host! He is kind and communicative and saved our trip when we had to leave a previous booking that was totally unfit. I would definitely stay again if I am in Dallas!

Hosts were responsive to questions. The unit was located close to just about everything I needed or a short Uber ride away. Unit was clean and open. It is loud on Friday and Saturday nights so take advantage of the ear plugs. I would make one suggestion to get new pillows for the bedroom.

We absolutely loved our anniversary stay here! The bed was incredibly cozy—we even looked up the sheets so we could get a set for ourselves. The shower and tub felt like a total dream. We’ll definitely be booking again when we’re back. The only thing we wished for was a pool instead of just a hot tub, especially with this Texas heat kicking in for the summer!

Second time staying at this AirBnb and I have to say my stay only got better the second time around. Luis Daniel G are a great host and definitely one of the best hosts on AirBnb at the moment.

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

We only stayed one night as we passed through on a road trip. This place is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was perfect. The beds and couch were extremely comfy. The aesthetic was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for hosting us and for having a gorgeous place!!

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

Place was just as listed. It was clean, spacious and beautiful, we felt right at home. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Richard was very responsive and accommodating. we had fun and relaxing time. very good stay overall!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. We booked this place for the privacy and the unique bathrooms and were not disappointed! This place is super secluded with a private pool and spa that overlooks the dry blanco river bed. We hiked thru the ravine and saw deer, lizards and just about every species of migratory bird in the area. The painted buntings were literally singing to us from the trees above the pool, so that alone made the trip for us! We book for nature and privacy and this spot checked all our boxes and then some. He is an outstanding host. I was trying to get food ready for my son's graduation party. I had trouble getting the grill started and he sent someone over within an hour to help me out. Any questions i had he answered without hesitation. He is great with the communication

The Bunkhouse is amazing! So much attention to detail makes the Bunkhouse a very cozy get away for a couple, family or group. The property has something for everyone! The pool temperature was perfect, beds were super cozy and the kids enjoyed pickleball on the sport court. We enjoyed fresh veggies from the garden and our grandson loved following the chickens around the property. Sandi was an excellent host and treated us with some delicious fresh banana bread! We loved our stay! We will definitely be back!!
