We have enjoyed our stay here. Room is really nice and simple. Just the right atmosphere for us as a couple. We enjoyed the pool and the common area. Really nice accommodation - can definitely recommend. We will book this again if we come back one day. :-) Staff is really sweet. Could easily communicate in English too. Every few days there were new water and toilet paper outside the door. Thanks for a nice stay.!

Perfect spot to rest and recharge! Clean, comfortable and quite convenient. The water and coffee refills were a lovley perk and the pool and tub were marvelous. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Retro Box hotel nás mile překvapil. Vypadal snad ještě lépe, než na fotkách. Pokoj byl čistý, k dispozici pitná voda, ručníky, snídaně. Personál byl milý, pohotový, přívětivý a pozorný. Cokoliv jsme potřebovali, nebylo problém zařídit. Děkujeme za krásný pobyt!

Mein Zimmer war leider „in Reparatur“; die Klimaanlage war defekt. Ich wurde kurzerhand bei Ankunft in eine andere Unterkunft gebracht. Dies lag etwa 5-Autominuten entfernt und hiess I-Talay; sie war tatsächlich noch schöner gelegen und so habe ich spontan umbuchen können. Ich kann daher für diese Unterkunft keine Angaben machen. Das Personal war sehr nett und flexibel.

Have you even been staying in a container room and also can rent tent for camping there Just 15 mins go to the death railway by cycling The Lady - Vaen is so helpful are helpful and easy to communicate with, she does advice you everything if you need she arranged to pick me up at the Wang Pro Train Staion if you really need for a nice relaxing time truly experiencing then stay in Kanchanburi -Sai Yok , you won't be regret

I loved my stay here because of the hosts! They are so kind and helpful! The place is really unique, storage units that have been converted, but I had a comfortable stay. The WiFi was really good, the air con was really appreciated given how hot and humid it was during my stay, I didn't find the noise from the road too bad as I wear earplugs. You can do washing for 30B and they even got my clothes in when I was out. The shower was also great, plus having a little kitchen area downstairs was helpful. Thank you!

We were a group of six, but we cound have been double of that, and it still would have been spacious. It’s a «feel good place» with inspiring arcitecture, views, and a fresh breese on the roof, swimming and playing with the canoos, even bycycles to go around the little park that the property is. It has a good kitchen, barbeque, and lots of space in different sections, ideal for both families and bigger groups. The staff is helpful and friendly, speaking thai and english. It was quite uniqe to have this little world all by ourselfes, and we really enjoyed it!

Super cool stay, while imagining a container being small or cramped, that is not at all the case! Very private, spacious, nice bath, super comfortable bed. Outside private pattio and on the water. A steal for the price!

I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely peaceful and scenic location. Everything was as described and the host was more than helpful, when we needed the hire of a scooter and recommendations for places to eat

I had the best stay here because the hosts have been very responsive, welcoming and accommodating all throughout my stay. It’s been homey. They made sure I could safely check in since I arrived at midnight, I asked for a few local spot suggestions (where to get the best Mango sticky rice) and they provided, even gave pro tips at shopping in bulk in Pratunam too 😁 Sat with them in my last day to talk about shopping in Bangkok, Football, best islands to visit in the Philippines etc and I told them they’re the best Airbnb host I’ve met so far— not all Airbnb hosts I’ve met in the past have been quite interactive with their guests, so it’s nice conversing with them. I highly suggest this place for female solo travelers like me, you’ll get more than money’s worth 🥰 Thank you, Thanyaluck and to your partner as well!

Me and my friend had a incredible stay. Thank you so so much for everything, I hope life will let us meet again. The hosts were very very, if not overly friendly 😂❤️. It felt like home. This place is amazing. Very peaceful and with beautiful surroundings. The appartament is well equiped and the garden outside is super well-kept. It also have a wonderful shared kitchen. The dogs are adorabile!

I stayed at Day Off House for three months, and it was one of the most heartwarming experiences I’ve had. From the start, I felt like part of a family. The hosts, a kind mother and daughter, went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment. When a flood hit Chiang Mai the day after I arrived, the host arranged a boat to get us out safely and organized an alternative hotel. Her care and quick thinking were incredible. The guesthouse is cozy, clean, and perfect for those seeking a sense of community. It’s more than just a place to stay. It’s a home where you feel connected to the hosts and other guests. Future guests, please treat the hosts with kindness. This is their home, not a hotel, and they do so much to make your stay special. If you’re visiting Chiang Mai, I can’t recommend Day Off House enough. It’s a place filled with warmth, care, and unforgettable memories.

Good place for larger groups. Scenery was nice and quiet. The containers are smaller than expected as they are half size not full size. Outdoor 2nd restroom was not expected.

Our family spent two nights at this property and we absolutely loved it. The space may seem small at first glance but it is very functional. This property is definitely not your typical one or two bedroom apartment. We loved the concept of containers beautifully stacked and connected to create the living space literally 20 feet from the ocean water during high tide. The Japanese breakfast was also a very pleasant surprise! Overall I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront gateway to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

The accommodation was very nice! The host was always available for questions, gave us tips on places and restaurants, and was very friendly! I loved it a lot. Unfortunately, we weren’t there for long and didn’t have much luck with the weather. Still, it was great, and I would come back anytime :) Highly recommended!

Fantastische plek om even tot rust te komen! De hosts zijn geweldig. We verbleven er tijdens de Songkran-holliday en gingen samen met hen Songkran vieren in Hat Yai. 's Ochtends stond er telkens koffie en koekjes klaar, en de hosts stonden altijd klaar voor een tof gesprek. Ons verblijf was een hele mooie combinatie tussen tot rust komen in een eigen plek (de container en tuin zijn heel rustig en gezellig) en sociaal contact tussen de hosts en enkelen van hun vrienden. Als we nog eens in Hat Yai zijn, komen we hier zeker terug!
