Holiday rentals with a fire pit in The Forks

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Corey’s place was perfect for our long Memorial Day weekend in Farmington! He was very responsive to messages. The house was clean and decorated with adorable Maine memorabilia. We would definitely stay at Corey’s again!

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

Jared was an awesome host. He accommodated us arriving early, had spots cleared out for our sleds and vehicles, gave me updates on the snow conditions..which was insanely helpful! The house was just as described, clean and everything was in great working order..very comfortable for our group. Superb communication and an overall excellent experience. We will be renting with Jared again next season and for many more to come!

Great little cozy spot, clean, lots of plants and lights. Very comfortable. Nice little spot on the property by the stream. Close to a variety of hikes and waterfalls. Very happy with our stay.

Stayed here with a large group and 2 dogs. Clean place, kitchen had everything you need. Patrick was super great with everything and checking in. Deff will rent again

The lakeside cabin was just what I needed. Quiet, private, and right on the water. My dog loved running in the yard and swimming in the lake. The cabin was comfortable with all the basics, and sitting on the porch watching the water was so relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet.

We had a lovely stay, the place was stocked with everything you could possibly need! The grocery store is also super close by, which made things very convenient!

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

This Airbnb was exactly as listed. Everything is updated, very clean, and comfortable. Jordana was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again.

I had a great stay at Michael's apartment/condo. The unit was extremely clean, and the kitchen is very well-stocked. It has more than everything you'd need to cook for yourself. And, the view is pretty fantastic, too--it looks right across the valley to Sunday River and up towards Old Speck and the Grafton Notch area. I'd not hesitate to stay again.

Very lovely home and home owners as well. Enjoyed the quiet very much at their place.

Andy’s place was perfect! I stayed here for the Sugarloaf marathon - you can’t find a closer spot to the start line! Beautiful area with tons of trails right on the property. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Linda and Bruce were fabulous host. The walking path down to the trout pond was enjoyable. The views outside were spectacular and you also had a great view from inside. I would definitely stay there again and bring my husband the next time. Thank you Linda and Bruce

I cannot say enough about Nancy, the unit I stayed in, or her hospitality! This apartment was perfect and cozy for my visit, with lots of personal touches and extras - if you need it, she’s already thought of it and has it ready for you. She was also very accommodating when my flight was cancelled and I had to shift my days around a bit. The personal touches were perfect - I had farm fresh eggs for breakfast and some delicious muffins too. A wonderful stay, thank you! I will most definitely be back! ❤️

Robin was very communicative and thoughtful during our stay. The place was exactly as described in the listing and was immaculate upon our arrival. The space was decorated tastefully and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Great location to be near the fair in the fall! Would recommend this location and host.

The cabin was amazing , I highly recommend it. It matched the description and pictures, the place if beautiful, private and cozy, we found it easily with Google Maps. Just make sure to arrive via Highland Ave - our navigation suggested a "shorter" route via Halls Ave and that's not a good idea. Cabin was fully equipped - kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, dryer, etc. There was also a manual for recommendations and local tips (the lake was amazing at the sunset) and even little details were great - lots of USB-C/Lightning chargers, or wireless chargers for phone/watch next to the bed.

The cabin was so cozy and the location is amazing. It’s private and has easy access to the Narrow Gauge Bike Trail. My family and I loved our stay and would be delighted to come again! Melissa was great at communication and ensured we had a great experience.

Our stay at Kate’s cabin was amazing. The cabin is gorgeous and it’s like a treasure hunt looking at all the artwork around the home! The views are immaculate and there is so much privacy. Kate was so kind and responsive. We really loved our stay and would definitely book again on our next trip to Maine!

We were traveling for work in the area. The cabin is clean, comfortable and very good WiFi. I would recommend staying at the cabin.

We loved staying at the cabin! It was 2 adults and one infant, and we had plenty of space to setup a pack n play for the baby to sleep. It was very clean, even for such an old cabin. The heat worked good since it was still cold in April. Lisa came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. It’s perfect for a short stay with a small family/couple. Just remember to bring your own towels :) The front porch with the rocking chairs is awesome as well. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Skowhegan area!

k's lake cabin was so lovely for my family! we loved using the kayaks and canoe. the sunsets were beautiful on the lake and the cabin was so cozy and welcoming. my kids loved the upstairs den, which is equipped with kids books and a few thoughtful toys. we will certainly be returning the next time we visit our maine family members. thank you K!

This is a very peaceful and beautiful setting and a rare chance to be in a place that feels so remote but is actually close to many things. It was a perfect get away to be able to walk in the woods and listen to the stream at night. We cannot wait to go back! Its beautiful inside and out.

Great spot. Heating is inconsistent, second floor was very warm while the first floor bedroom was very cold. Additional or heavier comforter or quilt for the first floor bed would have been appreciated. Otherwise, it is a very nice place and I'd stay here again.
