Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in The Great Lakes

This was our second stay. We booked one night at the beginning of our trip and a second night at the end. The unit was great. Jim was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back.

Nice place and great value. Very slight cigarette smoke smell but nothing bad. Immediate neighborhood is fine but some rougher areas you may pass through

This apartment was super cozy and warm. Everything was labeled nicely and everything we needed could be found in the kitchen and the bathroom.

The sunset view from the hot tub was absolutely breathtaking, providing a stunning backdrop for our evening relaxation. We opted for the gift basket, and it truly made our evening spectacular. It was filled with thoughtful treats that added a special touch to our stay. The place was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. The property was cool. Though I did realize how out of shape I was - winded every time I climbed the 2 steep floors to the unit. But so worth it. Spacious, adjustable climate (HVAC), TV, sprawl-able sofa and leather chairs. I was looking forward to having my coffee and reflection time on the back porch but, alas, the weather didn’t cooperate. Several dining options nearby and we walked over to the Fenelon Elevator for an epic view of the Mississippi River. Thanks for the memorable stay - it made a perfect landing on our adventure along the Mississippi River, from the headwaters in MN to the Gulf. We love the peaceful location, super comfy beds, gorgeous views, and the hosts themselves! We’ve chosen Michelle and Dave’s on several occasions and plan to keep choosing it on our return stays in the area. Highly recommend!!

Scarlet really made sure we were comfortable. nice little house in the centre of Parry Sound. you can see Scarñet likes what she does and made us feel right at home. nice stay.

The stay was amazing we all had a fun time, Ronda is a great host and very communicative. The backyard was my favorite part. It was a nice little spot with everything you need for a good time. I recommend this place to everyone. 10/10

Even more spacious than in the photos! Well-kept place, with a fully stocked kitchen, projector, BOSE speaker, and great backyard. Double shower in the master bedroom, and strong water pressure. Entry is easy with a code. Finally, the host is VERY accommodating, flexible, and responsive. Recommended!

the house has been in the family since 1934, however has been updated and additions built that adds to the charm. Super cool sauna lay out and the bedrooms were spacious and clean...we had a great stay and even managed a few cider tours in the surrounding area. so fun...

Lindsay is a wonderful host and communication was very easy with a rapid responses. We had no issues with the property, and Kingsville is an enjoyable town. I will return to stay here again.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

This place was awesome!! Exactly how it was described! Older house with tons of character! We enjoyed our stay immensely. We would not hesitate to book this again. Loved the record player, keyboard and all the retro decor. Felt like hippies!!

My family and I stayed at Lisa's place while attending my son's graduation, and we enjoyed our stay. Lisa and her team are pleasant, helpful, and attentive. And the unit is clean, spacious, well-appointed, and centrally-located. We found it easy to travel to and from UChicago via car in under 10 minutes, so attending graduation activities was a snap. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa's place, especially if you're headed to Hyde Park or Bronzeville.
