Perfect place to stay in Old Forge! Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, beach, and playgrounds. Newly renovated house so it was clean, updated, and cozy. Great house for families. As mentioned in previous reviews there are essentials to get started but may need a few extra things,(washcloths, beach towels, hand soap, tp, pt, garbage bags). Would definitely recommend and visit again in the future.

Cozy One Bedroom Apartment on Main ST OLD FORGE

This was our second time staying here, but life got in the way for the first review. Wonderful place to stay at and perfect for a weekend getaway. Marilyn's place was exactly as described and the location was great for what we like to do in Old Forge. It was nice to be able to walk to some of our favorite places for breakfast, dinner and drinks. Shopping was abundant as the Summer season was beginning to ramp up. The small fridge was great for drinks, snacks and leftovers. For a weekend, that's all we need as we're out most of the day. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. The shower has great water pressure for getting ready for the day. The coffee maker was a nice touch, too. A great place to stay and we'll definitely keep it on our short list for the area. ❤️

Camp Blantons - Old Forge

Our February stay at Camp Blantons, Old Forge was fantastic! Bridget was a superb host and extremely helpful. The house was very clean and well-equipped. There is a spacious entryway which was great for all of our winter gear. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room which has many oversized windows for viewing nature. The wood burning stove in the living room added to the warmth of the house. There are three bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. In addition, there are two full bathrooms which made it perfect for two couples. Finally, the property is beautiful, it was a winter wonderland surrounded by tall pines and there is a large pond that we snowshoed around. We enjoyed watching the deer on the snowy landscape. The area is quiet and just a short drive to town. We highly recommend staying at Camp Blantons for your next visit to the Adirondacks!

Great stay for a snowmobile weekend! The house is exactly how it is described- affordable, close to town and right on the access trail. Close to fuel station too! Super fancy? No. Clean, cozy and great for a quick trip when you are really there to ride as much as you can.
