Seattle History. In 1950 my Grandfather built and raced a hydro, Slo Mo Shun in Detroit bringing the winning Gold Cup to Seattle in 1950. This was the start of the Gold Cup held on the shores of Lake Washington. Seattle's biggest sport at the time with 100000 fans on the shore of Lake Washington every August.

History and excitement bring your inquisitive inner child and regale in this racing boat workshop for all ages! See the wonders of world war engines used for making beautiful waves and huge rooster tails of cascading water. Many events and adventures to be enjoyed by the young and young at heart.
