On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. IdyllAway is a 1946 vintage cabin on a quiet cul-de-sac. The rare covered front porch is ideal for relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings. The tree shaded deck is a few steps down from the cabin. Just a few blocks from the wonderful Ernie Maxwell trail, and less than a mile to town. We are on a short gravel road, just off a paved road. There is no through traffic, which means it is very safe for kids to play in front of the house and the surrounding area. Perfect snow play cabin!.
