Villa holiday rentals in Thorn

We stayed in Christian's cottage/apartment on vacation for the 2nd time. It was wonderful again. The garden is a dream come true for parents and children. The area is nice for walks. The house is spacious, we often played billiards. The children can move around well even in bad weather. We will be happy to come back.

It is a very enjoyable and beautiful stay. The host provides a very warm welcome and does everything he can to make you feel at home. The cottage has everything you need and there is also a lot to do and see in the area. We ourselves have experienced some ambiguities around certain additional costs, with the communication with Belvilla being absolutely not optimal. Communication with the effective host, on the other hand, was very positive.

Had a pleasant stay in a well-kept spacious home. Small tip: extra mirror(s) provided. Only downside to the house: there is only 1 toilet. I can definitely recommend the stay 👍

Rob is a very friendly host who welcomes you with a lot of attention. We got a good explanation and historical background of this beautiful property. Great location!

Amazing short stay. Herman was great from the initial booking right up to the day we left, very quick to respond to questions and super friendly. Even helped us after check out with a poorly toddler. Amazing host!

My mother and I stayed at the villa in Sweikhuizen for a week. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and there was a welcome package ready for us. From here we explored the area and made trips to Aachen, Maastricht, Valkenburg and Belgium. A good base. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are good. There is heated from two A/C'but when you set it to a fixed temperature, the temperature throughout the house is pleasant.

A fantastic house, with plenty of space, with separate playroom for the children, at the edge of the forest. Large dining table: when can you enjoy a meal at 1 table and each other with 12 or even a few more? We love the fireplace and the fire bowl outside. Wonderful that we could dive into made beds and communication with host went well. All in all: Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic reunion with a group of friends in Christine’s house. Christine was very fast to respond and informative to any questions we had and was a pleasure to deal with. Can fully recommend this host & location.

We had a midweek with the family. The villa is beautiful, exactly as in the pictures. The park on which it is located is beautiful, uncluttered and there is plenty to do. Check-in at the desk also went smoothly and we got plenty of explanations about the park and the area. Both grandparents and grandchildren had a great time. Both in and outside the villa. We were 15 people but it didn't feel like we were all inside. Together, but also some private space. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Everything was nice. But the beds can be of higher quality, they are not comfortable and make noise.

Excellent and beautiful house for a family group. Space enough for all, despite the 3 levels and inside stairs. Even with small kids, all was great and comfortable. We really enjoy to stay in and the garden area it is fantastic. Kids burn a lot of calories running all over around. We highly recommend to stay here. We came here with a group of 16 people to stay. This is not an accommodation for just couples if you want some privacy, but with us this was not the case. We were in a room with 3 or 4 people each time (1 double bed and then several single sofa beds ) Very spacious cottage, beautiful surroundings, beautiful garden! If I sent something to Anouk, she also responded as quickly as possible and very friendly. Very satisfied with our stay here, we will also recommend it to others.

We (family with adult children 20+) enjoyed Baudouin's house. We were surprised by the garden. It is more beautiful than in the photos. With stunning views of trees and strolls. The large barn with table tennis is a bonus. The house and kitchen have all the comforts. Baudouin responded quickly and correctly to our questions. The surroundings are quiet. For shops, restaurants or a cafe you have to go to the center of Tongeren (about 6 kilometers).

We rented a tent over Easter and had a nice time overall. The surrounding area is ideal for children – lots of nature, space to play and a really family atmosphere. Especially the barbecue in the evening was a lot of fun and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. A few small things could be improved: the shower was in need of repair and the internet connection was unfortunately not reliable. Also, it got quite cold at night – so you should prepare well if you stay there this time of year. Still a great spot for families who want to enjoy a bit of nature and camping together

The house is very nice and cozy furnished. Enough cozy seating and space for 12 people. The beds are soft and you look directly at the lake. We had a great weekend and would be happy to come back.

Nice and uncomplicated contact. Quick response to questions. No towels means that you also do not find towels in the toilet, we were not so aware of that and it happened for the first time after four trips to Holland. Not that anyone makes the same mistake as we do :). No soap was already something more surprising but a supermarket is nearby and you can quickly buy the missing things. Otherwise, clean apartment, nice sauna and garden. Beds a little flat and soft but on the whole the location is recommended. There is a lot to experience in the area, especially for children.

This stay is definitely worth a recommendation. We were 6 adults and two kids and the house can easlily accomodate a lot more. Very spacy and yet cosy. Environment, accomodation, very balanced at high level. We have enjoyed our weekend and above all, our kids highly appreciated the warm heated swimming pool at an outside 16°C Belgian temparature.
