A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. The apartment is within our family house but completely private with its own entrance. Your hosts are on hand, though, for advice on local attractions, restaurants and places to visit for day trips. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. This recently renovated annexe offers a relaxing base in a semi-rural location. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. With its intriguing glass topped well in the floor of the main living area. the Lodge offers a king size double bed (5ft width) which can also be made into 2 single beds if required. There is also a sofa bed and travel cot if required.

Bramble Cottage, Harwood Dale

Bramble Cottage is a bungalow style detached Barn conversion. It has many original retained features with beamed ceilings and cosy feeling throughout. Within the National Park on a working farm this is an ideal location for walking and cycling enthusiasts, or for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors or North East Coast. It is within close driving distance of Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering. Harwood Dale is surrounded by outstanding countryside without being miles away from civilisation.
