Monthly Rentals in Thorpeness

Really great house. Stayed with my wife and three boys (15, 11, 11) and the size was ideal. Superb location, close to pub, beach, activities. Thoroughly recommended.

We had the most incredible time with the family of 6 adults and our 2 grandsons celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. It’s without doubt the most quirky and fascinating place we have stayed. We have stayed in Suffolk numerous times over the years and have always been fascinated with House in the Clouds so it was a wonderful surprise to find we could hire it. It felt very welcoming and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The boys had the best time exploring and it all felt very safe. Natasha was very helpful from the beginning and was very quick to respond to any questions. Thorpeness is quieter than its neighbours along that coast but the local pub is great and there is plenty to explore without it being too busy. Would highly recommend and definitely keen to return another time!

The location is incredible, our son was very excited that "the back garden is just the whole beach!" and the property works really well as a base for a family of four to explore Thorpeness and the surrounding area. My only minor criticism was that some of the pots/pans/utensils have seen better days and could do with being replaced, and some of the glassware was a bit dirty and needed washing up again before use. Overall a really fantastic stay, happy to recommend!

What a fantastic property to stay in as a group. All rooms are a good size with very nice conservatory and garden when the sun shines. The village location is stunning with flat walks in the area easily accessible. Luckily it was also great weather, as at the village pub you could only sit outside if not dining. We would definitely stay at Annie's House again if in Suffolk in the future.
