Nice, quiet neighborhood. House was spacious and clean. Wifi was not great but we weren't there enough for that to matter much. The grocery store is just a few minute walk so we were able to grab anything we needed quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. We would definitely stay here again.

Hosts were very communicative and beyond easy to work with which we appreciated! Wonderful home, very clean, and comfortable.

Relaxed and beautiful location for our family of 3 plus dog. The trek from the house to the beach was, fast and easy with the paddleboards - even the dog enjoyed being out on the water! Lots of room to hangout and have fun. The karaoke battle was pretty epic! Thanks Mike & Eva!

I can't say enough good things about Meri and this little home. The house is exactly as described and perfect for a private, peaceful stay, and pet friendly! Everything you could possibly need is there. It was truly our home while we waited for housing on post. and Meri.. there's not enough nice things to say about her either. Always responsive, always friendly and so caring towards her guests. This place is above and beyond any expectation I had about staying somewhere that wasn't mine for over 2 months!

This was the perfect little house with a big yard and outdoor space! Justin had water and soda’s in the fridge which was a nice touch considering we arrived from a long car ride. The bed is comfortable, my kids were also comfortable on the pull out. The location is really close to a lot of shopping and the fair grounds. Parking is easy and out of the way from the streets. I’d stay here again.

The place is quiet, provide great escape from the city and the internet is fast enough for typical netflix and youtube streaming. The fence yard was a plus since I was brining two of my dogs. Even though it was raining during my whole stay, the place is so peaceful that me and my dogs was fine with just laying on the comfy couch watching Netflix on a huge 75in tv. Definately would come back during the summer months to explore the island a bit more and stay at Kent's place again.

It was the perfect place for a family getaway. It was quiet and peaceful. The place had a ton of little extra details that were great. Jen responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Very secluded home right along the river. The home is easy to navigate (they have most things labeled and I love that!) A few things we loved and that stood out: 1. The river is just outside the back door. There is a great covered patio with gliders to chill in or a fire pit to gather around while enjoying the sounds of the water. 2. The master bathroom has color changing lights above the shower and tub - awesome!!! 3. The bed in the master was super comfy! 4. The sectional sofa is huge and perfect for cuddling up together. 5. The hanging swing chair inside stole my heart! Loved our stay overall!! The only thing to be aware of is it is pretty remote. We lost cell coverage about 15 minutes before we got to the home. (Verizon) But thankfully the WiFi works! The neighbors close by are all friendly and the home is perfect for some much needed down time. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature and unplugging for a bit.

We booked the house for a quiet holiday getaway and were very pleased with the choice. Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, very well-stocked kitchen, descriptive instructions for how to use all of the amenities including the relaxing hot tub, and even some historical detail about the island made us feel right at home. Would absolutely recommend!

Great place, amazing views, Matt was great and proactive as the internet company planned to shut down the WiFi for a few hours and we were aware 20+ hours prior. Neighbor has dementia but is a very friendly guy who may mistake you as the owner but non the less easy going neighbor.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Sarah’s and really love her house. It’s within walking distance of a park and the store. And close to our favorite hikes. We played many games of corn hole and utilized the hot tub. The house is well stocked with plenty of plates, cutlery, towels, cozy blankets and more. I’m sure we’ll be back.

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city for me and a couple of my friends. There was lots of space and the house was very clean with lots of bowls and plates and other kitchen cooking items which was helpful! Heather was very responsive and provided great instructions for the Ferry. I would definitely recommend this house to other friends and family!
