The accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen-diner, cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Close by is a quiet sitting area with a lock up shed for bikes etc. The large bedroom is spacious with a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured as a single or twin. A cot can be provided on request. bed linen and towels are provided and heating and electric costs are included in the rental charge. Sorry no pets. This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. *Please note - bathroom refurbishment (completed 1st March 2026) The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but no longer a separate shower.

The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.
