Cozy Eldhus/bakstehus from 1850. The cottage has been converted into an annex/small cottage where there is one room with a double bed. Dining area inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas cooktop. Barbecue. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen is included in the rental price. There is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the surrounding area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. The cabin area is located right next to Skinnarbu mountain hotel. The cabin is located on the nicest plot in the cabin area with a lovely view over Hardangervidda. It has direct access to endless hiking opportunities whether it is on foot in the summer or cross-country skiing in the winter. Otherwise, Rauland alpine resort is about a 15-minute drive away.
