Cottage holiday rentals in Tissington

This cottage has an absolutely amazing garden with lots of interesting features. I would have liked to know more about its history. Hot tub was wondery

We had a wonderful stays at Matthews place. A beautiful cottage, extremely clean and tidy and added extras like brand new slippers, fresh milk, and biccys waiting for us. The hottub was a treat, we contacted Matthew before our stay to ask if he could cool the hottub due to the hot weather, which he immediately responded and did. The cottage was spotless! Walks from your front door up to Cubar Edge, amazing views. We loved our stay and highly recommend this air b & b. Thanks for having us!

Me, my wife and son had a great relaxing weekend at Lizzy’s Cottage. The hot tub was secluded, the place looked just like the pictures and had a peaceful vibe! We all slept so well with the comfy beds too! Harrison was helpful and responsive through messages. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at Wood Cottage. The location is great for getting around and seeing the sites. The lakes and woodland are just stunning. The house is gorgeous and it has everything you need. Facilities excellent and we loved the hot tub overlooking the lake. Robes were a lovely touch too! Had a fantastic trip ☺️

Massive thank you to Paul and Sarah. We had a truly fantastic time, our daughter loved being a mini farmer for the weekend, she has not stopped talking about our stay since we have arrived home! Paul was very responsive to any questions we had, the accommodation was clean and had everything we wanted and more! We loved the location and having such beautiful walks right from the doorstep. I absolutely loved Lucy's home, its in a lovely area with the pub in walking distance , aswell as many others in local villages like Wirksworth and Matlock. This house had everything needed for a relaxing long weekend with the dog so couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for being a brilliant host, I look forward to coming back soon

Amazing location for Alton Towers and cottage was great space and worked well for the family. Only niggle was a noise monitor that pinged us saying we were being too loud - we were a family group with a baby all in bed by 10:30pm and spent the evening playing board games- so hardly rock n roll and it was 8pm on a Saturday when we started getting alerts whilst playing board games - felt a bit like we couldn’t speak or laugh - maybe lower tolerance of the monitor or just do it later ?

Lovely scenery and cosy cottage with a fully equiped kitchen and complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. TV and DVD player included, with pamphlets for local activities, and the wifi is very good for the area. Overall good value for money.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely property. Stunning views from propery and very peaceful location to come back to after a day exploring/hiking all the close by attractions such as Buxton, Mam Tor, NT Longshaw. Met up with friends at RHS Bridgewater a bit further afield but worth a visit. Kitchen well equipped and spacious and enjoyed cooking with the view towards Rushup Edge. This was particularly spectacular with the recent strawberry moon in full view.

Second time of staying in this lovely cottage. The perfect weather allowed us to fully enjoy the brilliant garden. A short stroll into Hartington village and superb walks from the doorstep. We’ll be back!

We've just returned from a very relaxing few days at the Hideaway. It's a lovely location with amazing views, sitting on the balcony of a morning just listeing to the birds, seeinf the frogs in the pond & a visit from the cat next door. Corrie was on hand if we had any questions and recommended some amazing walks and areas to visit. Our dog even had her own towel and bowls, all provided by Corrie.

Wow ! What an incredibly lovely spacious house . Beautiful garden and lovely walks close by . We loved it . Will definitely be back with the in laws . Our dog loved it too .

Somehow the little cottage is even better than the pictures! We LOVED our stay and plan on returning. Very quiet, peaceful, and cozy.

The whole property was exactly as described and photographed, but even better bearing in mind all details covered. Things like a kitchen equipped with quality items and a lovely welcome pack of goodies to welcome us were really appreciated. The bedding was of good quality and cosy, and signage within the property was minimal and well judged. All in all a very professional presentation making a very pleasurable stay. Thank you.

The best Air BnB experience by far. It felt brand new, spotless, and every touch extremely well thought of and considerate. They even had a welcome hamper! You can see sheep and a horse grazing peacefully in the back over the fence. Paul & Elizabeth were so warm and checked in to see if we were having a good time. The house is beautiful and impeccably maintained! Friendly and professional hosts!

A lovely peaceful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. As stated, a car is a must, but there are plenty of amenities a few miles away in Wirksworth. Michelle spotted us as we arrived and gave us a very warm welcome. Will happily return.

We had a really comfortable stay. The cottage was well equipped. The bed was super comfy! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by fields. Very clean and tidy place. We were up for a weekend for a wedding, but we could have easily spent an entire week here, just doing walks in the Peaks and relaxing at the place in the evening

The cottage was a real gem in beautiful surroundings. All you require for an outstanding stay with every mod con you could possibly need provided. Every aspect of the cottage was classy and modern. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had a superb stay and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

The Milking Parlour was a lovely cottage in a peaceful location with fantastic views out over the dales. There were some nice walks direct from the door and loads of other great walks with a 5-10 minute drive such as the Monsal Trail. Julia was always available if needed to ask a question but otherwise left us to it so it was a lovely private space. The facilities were excellent - we loved having a game of table tennis and pool in the evening and enjoyed watching the sunset from “sunset corner” in the farm. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.
