The property has a large, sunny lawn that invites you to play, relax and enjoy long summer days. You have your own swimming area with a diving board and a private dock, as well as a Zodiac Medline 580 with a 115 hp Evinrude.

Welcome to "the cabin" at Hvalstrand jetty! Bua is a cozy little cabin located on Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while you get a taste of the boat life. The house is located in connection with the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who vacation in their boats. There are swimming facilities on site with a swimming ladder at the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. Kjærstranda is located about 1.2 km from the cabin and the beautiful Svaberg is about 500 m away. It was built new in the summer of 2024 and contains everything you could desire from a modern cabin. Being by the sea is great all year, not just in the summer!

The property is not suitable for people with mobility disabilities. The tenant must be over the age of 25. Minimum 3 nights rental. Welcome!

Oceanfront cabin with large dock

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

Access to private pier to swim in the ocean as well as kayaks, tennis court and great hiking opportunities included.

The cabin is located 80 meters from the sea, and has a large sunny terrace with a gas grill. An annex has a modern bathroom with hot water and WC. The cabin has a nice garden and access to a large lawn for activities such as a trampoline, badminton, and volleyball. Tjøme is bike friendly and there is a bike path along the island and all the way to Tønsberg. A children friendly beach, a summer open bakery, and a cultural center is within few minutes walk.
