Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tjörn Municipality

Amazing space that is really recommended!! We have been here now for 5 days, 3 girlfriends with children aged 4-19. Everyone had a great time, big and small, and there's something for everyone. Large and plenty of room in the house, 4 large bedrooms with good beds. A lovely large garden with lots of opportunities for play and fun. The highlight was the pool and jacuzzi. The host has been incredible from day 1. Clear instructions, quick to respond to messages . Not to mention the help. We struggled a bit to figure something out on the pool, he then sent over a person who came and fixed this the first day . I sent him a message asking if he had a vacuum for the pool. He didn't have this, but the next day there was a brand new vacuum for the pool on the porch. We will be more than happy to come back and highly recommend this great place. This week has been great! The host is absolutely incredible - 10/10

We visited Gothenburg to see our daughter at university. The location is perfect for both seeing our daughter and accessing the city and all it’s attractions. The apartment was perfect, very comfortable, very clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. An amazing place with a very friendly and helpful host. Great city to visit with fantastic transport network, so simple and easy. Plenty to see from a perfect location. G & J

The cabin of Peter and Jenny is cozy and lovingly furnished, the garden is great, he offered our children delicious berries to pick, a trampoline and swing to play and streams and a waterfall to discover and rabbits to cuddle. Jenny and Peter were great hosts, they were very kind and accommodating. We felt right at home. Thanks so much for the great memories!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the house of ingela. The pictures on the website matches. The beds are nice and the kitchen is fully furnished (plenty of pans, glasses, etc.). The pool is wonderful, there are games…Excellent hostess. The area is really beautiful, so much to see and do.

We, two families with five children, had an unforgettable time with Annika and Jonas. The house was large and superbly equipped. Annika welcomed us directly after arrival and gave us some tips for the area. The dreamy beach, the whirlpool and the sauna on the sea are a great luxury after a long day of excursions. We can only highly recommend this accommodation and hope that we can come back soon.

Lovely week at the Gothia cup! We were a party of seven people and got good space in the house, grilled on the terrace and bathed in the hot tub. The weather was not so inviting for sea bathing but walking distance to the beach. Easy to get to games by car and good bus connections to Liseberg and the city center. Recommended!

We had a super nice few days in Rönnäng. The place is a small tiny house where you are completely for yourself and undisturbed. Accordingly, it was very quiet, which we and our dog enjoyed. In addition, the accommodation is in a great location and the island of Tjörn and the surrounding area can be perfectly explored on foot and a few minutes by car. The Swedish west coast is definitely worth a trip and if you don't want to spend a lot of money but still want to have a cozy place to stay, this is the place to be. Thanks for the wonderful time!!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this small but fine cottage. It provided everything we needed. On cooler days we could use our own sauna. From the cottage we could explore the area on foot, by bike or car and discover beautiful beaches. We grilled twice on the terrace (private barbecue available). The patio furniture is very comfortable. We have recovered very well here and would come back.

It was very nice inside and outside it is very beautiful. A little bit difficult to find though. I think that 4 persons might be crowded. However, I enjoyed my stay very much.

Hanna’s place is a lovely little cottage close to the coast. 5min away on foot away from a lovely view across the sea. Hanna was really helpful when I had and the place is simple, cozy and comfortable. It has everything you might need for a long weekend. A great sourdough bakery is just 5min by car away. I stayed alone with my dog, the space was great for that and we had lovely walks in the area :) I would recommend coming by car to enjoy everything else in the surrounding area.

We had a really lovely 5 days at Sofia’s place. Sofia and Malcolm were incredibly friendly and welcoming and had lots of ideas and tips of where we should go and what we should see. We were made to feel right at home and our children were encouraged to use the garden and trampoline etc, while we were also encouraged to pick the plums and other produce from the garden. The flat is really centrally located on Tjörn, meaning that everything we wanted to do was an easy drive away. We loved exploring the coastline and the island and really enjoyed the flat which suited our family of four really well. Thank you Sofia and Malcolm for a really lovely stay.

We had wonderful days in Mats' charming house. Perfect location in the middle of the older picturesque part of Mollösund with a short distance to the harbor, restaurants, swimming areas, the shop and the fishmonger. Mollösund is truly a gem on the west coast. The house is charming and well cleaned and suited our party of 6 people well. We didn't miss anything. Smooth check-in. We especially appreciated that the house is located in the middle of Mollösund, so it is a bit secluded and that it has outdoor areas with sunny locations during the day and evening sun on the balcony. The host is very accommodating and helped with the questions we had, both before and during the stay. Clear instructions. Highly recommend, we would love to come back.

Cecilia is an extremely helpful host who goes out of her way to help. When we arrived there was a nice greeting and there were fresh flowers. The house is getting an extra bathroom and therefore the description does not quite fit, but Cecilia writes exactly how it is. The house is incredibly beautiful overlooking the water. There is a lovely terrace. Nice with wifi and Chromecast when the weather is bad 😉 We can recommend a trip to Dyrön.

Super nice accommodation in central Gothenburg! The host was super nice and made us feel at home! The house is within walking distance to the city with a nice walk. Nice restaurants nearby with good variety, we got great tips from the host both for the restaurants/bars that were nearby but also inside the city. As well as directions and tips for getting to Ullevi and the concert in the best way. + with parking on the premises! 10/10, we'll be back!

Helpful, pleasant and flexible host who responds quickly. Spacious and nice house and a fantastic sun deck with wonderful hot tub. Cozy location with good privacy from the neighbors.

An idyllic setting with fantastic views. You could feel the calm the same second you stepped onto the large balcony. Everything you could possibly need was in place and Christoffer was alert and quick to respond to questions and also of great help when we had forgotten a gift in the house. Here you will find everything you want, grill, kitchen, tools, views, things to do, a fantastic service mind and even a jacuzzi to watch the wonderful sunset in. I can only highly recommend an overnight stay (or more) in this lovely place!
