Chalet holiday rentals in Tobermory

We had three amazing days here. The cabin is beautifully presented inside and out and the views towards the sea and over to Skye are incredible. The cuckoo was ever present nearby and we heard snipe drumming amongst the swooping lapwing. The location is perfect, I can't recommend Steven's place strongly enough. Thank you very much.

Nic and Lindsay were lovely hosts,friendly,helpful and welcoming. We soon felt at home and were extremely comfortable. Freshly baked scones and treats were a very nice touch. Just fantastic view across to the mountains. Weather was kind and we were able to sit out on the balcony . Lovely walks on the doorstep, and plenty to do and see in the area. Good restaurants locally. Highly recommended .

Absolutely loved it home from home

A beautiful cottage in great surroundings. The area was easy to explore on foot and activities nearby were easily accessible. The cottage itself was equipped with all the basic needs.

Julie is a really friendly and helpful person. She showed us around our chalet and gave us super good advices to start our Nessie Hunt. Loved it all! The area of Fort Augustus is amazing, everything’s just around the corner: gift shops, pubs, restaurants and boat trips to Loch Ness. The place itself was one half of a divided chalet: clean and tidy, with all the equipment we needed (no wifi though but we were prepared with mobile data). Compact but comfortable for 2 people and a dog. A nice, quiet place and easy to access.

We had a lovely relaxing time, very spacious and clean bungalow. The place is a little tired round the edges but that didn't detract from our stay. We did have an issue with the main lights in the living room and kitchen which kept going off but this was quickly resolved as the electrician came out and fixed a loose wire. The place had everything we needed. we would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Lovely place that is a great size for a family or a couple and friends. We went with our baby and a friend. The cot worked out great and we used the high chair multiple times. The view is unbeatable and the location is great for hiking and exploring the Fort William area. Friendly hosts.

Location-wise, we love how the cabin is situated in the middle of Mallaig (ferry to Isle of Skye) and Fort William (Ben Navis). Glenfinnan ( Hogwarts Express) and Eileen Na Moine (Dumbledore's grave) are nearby. The place itself was easy to find and looks very secure. We felt right at home as the amenities are complete, the space was properly cleaned and the overall vibe is comfy. Not only has the host sent instructions well before the trip, but has also left an information booklet complete with where to find things in the house and attraction recommendations. Cleanliness was given 4stars only because not everybody appreciates food left in the refrigerator. Mind you, it's not the cooked leftovers but some boxed frozen meals and ice lollies left by the previous occupiers. But other might find this a blessing. Overall, if you are a fan of the wizarding world like my daughter, you'll definitely find this as "One of the best AirB&Bs ever!

Karen’s Airbnb was modern, spotless, stylish and literally the most well-provisioned AirBnb I have ever stayed at. Dyson hairdryers in both main suites, every kitchen appliance you could imagine (why of course there’s an ice cream maker!) and then some you didn’t know existed like a hot chocolate maker as well. She was so kind and helpful despite our last-minute reservation in mid-week November happening at the same time as some significant personal events as well. Wonderful, kind, stylish host with a beautiful first class house.

The lodge on the loch was breathtaking, from the sights on the water to the mountains in the distance. Our lodge had a perfect view of the sunset over the mountains. The hot tub was clean and great for relaxation as we watched the sun slowly settle below the horizon of the mountainscape. Smoking is not permitted in the lodge but is allowed on the back porch overlooking the loch. The staff were very helpful and ready to assist with any requests. We were allowed an additional hour for check out. The lodge did not have any napkins or paper towels so be sure to bring your own; but it was well equipped with cooking and drinking necessities and a dishwasher. The lodge was clean and comfortable with a flat screen tv and 2 leather couches adding comfort from inside. The midges come out at sundown so be aware that they can become troublesome. Bring bug repellent and plenty of sunblock. The rooms can get warm on hot days. Our stay was incredible and a great experience.

facilities were good. easy walk to roam west restaurant for dinner. easy walk to the Corran ferry. Many midges outside the chalet.

The deck was beautiful and the hot tub helped after a long day out exploring. It was amazing I will say that the interior needs a little bit of sprucing up but all the necessary was included and helping in making the stay great We arrived just at the close of check in time due to road works and the host was very accommodating.

Very enjoyable time spent here. Can’t recommend enough. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Loch Lomond, but absolutely more magnificent in scenery. Sarah was a responsive host whenever contacted, the lodge was very clean and beautiful. Short 1 minute walk down to a beach which was beautiful. All neighbours and other residents of the area were friendly. Don’t have a single bad thing to say about the place.

This is our third time staying at the Gun Club. We love the location in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and with a large, secure, enclosed area for dogs. The place is always clean and tidy and we can just turn up and set up home for a week. There is plenty of space for everything and the facilities are just what we need. We look forward to coming back time and time again!

Top location

Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

Had a such a lovely stay with family. Great directions and check in instructions, cabin was spotless and beds very comfortable. Christmas tree and decor added to the trip, whilst weather wasn’t kind, views were still stunning. Kitchen had everything we needed, overall a lovely festive break.

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Bunkie <3 parking was so easy, the few is amazing. The cabin adventurous and we had all we needed! it's still in the middle of the nature, so be prepared for wild insects in the Highlands ;) we would recommend the stay.
