The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.

Farm stay in a cozy yurt

Want to be surrounded by nature? Listen to animal sounds? Eat quality food? You're in the right place! The yurt has a full bed. It has electricity for lights and a hot plate. Pots, pans and utensils are available. The compost toilets are in the back. There is no running water inside but we provide a drinking fountain and foot pump sink. An outdoor shower is available near our house. The distance between parking and the yurt is about 150 yards. Petting goats or sheep available. .

The camp is brand new on 27 acres of land 3 min to Blue Hill Mountain and 5 min to Blue Hill downtown which is right on the water of The Blue Hill Bay. This is an edge wood enchanting retreat perfect for two to hear birds, squirrels and porcupines. Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
