One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

The previous evaluations have raised high expectations, which have been consistently met. Everything that has been written so far is true! The prepared hiking trails are particularly great, some of which start right at the house. After hiking, relaxation in the sauna, then a cozy evening in the beautiful apartment. Only one disadvantage: we were there for too short a time! So only recommended, and indeed host and holiday home, you live and live effectively as on cloud 7.

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

We (family of 6) had a pleasant stay here. Spacious semi detached house with modern amenities located in a quiet and serene neighbourhood. Easy to park in front of the house (we travelled w/ 2 cars). Smooth check-in/check-out experience, and easy to communicate with the host. More than happy to book JeCo’s house again when travelling to the Kaiserstuhl region. 5 stars from us.

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Ines’ place is a dream. It’s located in a small village with a drive through the beautiful Schwarzwald forest. There is a small grocery store down the street with a meat market next to it and a bakery across from it. Not too far away are bigger grocery stores and shopping centers but we didn’t even find a need for those. The location is ideal for day trips to France and even Switzerland and returning to the tranquility of the house after a long day of exploring was wonderful. The host lives next door if you need anything but the rest of the house is surrounded by meadows and trees as far as the eye can see. The stars light up the sky at night, and sitting outside to watch them was a treat. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Franz is a very kind person from the beginning. He gave us valuable advice. The house is exactly as pictured...wonderful! furnishings studied in detail, extremely clean. In the house there is everything you need for a great stay, it is in a very quiet residential area with a parking lot right in front. In the village you can find shops and restaurants all within walking distance... perfect after a day spent driving around. Highly recommended! Thank you Franz

As soon as the front door was opened, it was noticeable how lovingly and thoughtfully the apartment is furnished. Each room is something very special. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and during my stay I lacked nothing. The light-flooded office is ideal for working remotely while enjoying the view of the countryside. I really enjoyed the warm conversations and recommendations for the region and will definitely come back again. The apartment and the surroundings are perfect for escaping the stressful everyday life and letting your mind wander.

The accommodation was extremely quiet in a beautiful location with very good excursion possibilities. Very clean and very well equipped, also really nicely designed. Nice contact - we were able to quickly and easily resolve a minor damage we had caused after departure.

Lothar was a very friendly and generous host. We really enjoyed our stay in Pfaffenweiler together with our friends and children. It is a very relaxing environment with wonderful surroundings. For wine enthusiasts: the local wine is absolutely worth trying.

We had the most amazing stay. Rebecca and Tony were the loveliest hosts, ensuring we had all the information we needed for our adventures (which were wonderful and aplenty). We’re so grateful to the whole family for making our stay so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful property and to explore the local area. It really is an enchanting place, lush and green with so much to see and do. We were struck by the rich biodiversity of the region and how quiet and pristine it is. As a family who are passionate about nature and enjoy nothing more than spending time together outdoors, this was the prefect base. The property is nestled amongst tree-covered hills with beautiful wildflower meadows spanning the valley and you’ll find a stream at the bottom of the garden. The balcony offers dreamy views out towards the picturesque landscape where you can enjoy the soothing soundtrack of birds, the bells of the goats on the hillside and the stream. A little slice of paradise!

We were allowed to spend a week over Easter in Uwe's apartment. We felt at home here due to the cozy furnishings. Due to the super prepared tips on excursions and restaurants nearby, we didn't get bored despite the rainy weather. The communication with Uwe was consistently friendly and straightforward. We would come back any time when visiting the Black Forest.

It was all wonderful. The apartment smelled fresh and was clean. The hostess was very friendly and a self check-in and check-out via key compartment were possible. Have already recommended the accommodation to acquaintances. Happy to come back! Thank you.

Barbara’s place was very well equipped, clean and felt very homely!! The view from the balcony is also very beautiful! Strongly recommend it!

Apartment was very comfortable and very clean. Easy walk to grocery and restaurants. We were able to walk/hike from the apartment to the castle ruins. It was convenient to have parking space at the building. Enjoyed the two porches. Note: the apartment is up two flights of stairs and the second bedroom is accessed by a ladder.

Great and beautiful remote location to find some peace and quiet in the Schwarzwald!

We felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything possible, there are many games and books - also a game of patience that we unfortunately could not solve 😅 In about 8 minutes at the bus stop, with the bus only running very sporadically on Sunday. On foot, however, you can also reach Paula-Modersohn Square in about 15-20 minutes and from there take the light rail towards Freiburg. Would definitely come again!

Very nice accommodation and very well-equipped. I had a good stay there and I didn't miss anything. The place was well appointed and decorated. Big plus for Nicole's little touches, I've rarely seen an Airbnb so well equipped! We just had to put our suitcases down. I recommend it 200%, go there with your eyes closed!

We were so impressed with this air bnb! It was incredibly clean and I could tell how much attention to detail Orlando had put into the whole experience. The surroundings were also so beautiful and quiet. There was a grocery store a 2 min walk away and it was very quick and easy to get to the airport the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent a wonderful week staying with Maj Britt and Klaus at their beautiful winery and loved every moment of it. From start to finish, they were the perfect hosts — always helpful and welcoming without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel at home. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the wine tasting and it was great to hear more about the winery! The accommodation was exactly what we were after: clean, tidy, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing stay. Also it is a great location close to Freiburg and the Black Forest. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience — we’d love to visit again!
