Waterfront holiday rentals in Tomales Bay

We had a terrific stay at La Sirena! The location can’t be beat - a few minute walk to town, and just steps from the beach! The place itself was clean, nicely decorated, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. And omg the heated bed was amazing! So nice for those foggy beach nights and mornings. Jeff is a great host - proactive and helpful via message. There was a crew doing some brief construction and Jeff reached out ahead of time to let us know. Overall it was a great and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend staying at La Sirena!

This is a real gem of a find in SFO. Great hideaway in the middle of everything around Fisherman’s Warf Modern, clean, and very private.

Paul’s place is absolutely stunning and the view will absolutely not disappoint! He is a great and responsive host, and we really enjoyed our time there 🖤

Awesome place near a beautiful ocean beach in a very quiet and lovely area. It's perfect for walking or running along the shore. Golden Gate Park is nearby - about a 30-minute walk along the beach. Just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. The area is very quiet - we slept well every night. Plenty of street parking is available. Nick is an awesome host - very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Excelente alojamiento, todo muy limpio y ordenado, con excelentes comodidades y el barrio muy tranquilo, al comienzo me dio la impresión de ue estariamos un poco alejados, pero esta muy buen conectado con el resto de la ciudad, hacia cada lugar que queriamos ir llegabamos rapido.

We had an amazing time here over the weekend. The interior was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the bird, seals, and other wildlife. Everything we needed was less than 10 min away.

The apartment was brilliant, extremely clean, cozy, & close to everything. Hosts was always helpful and quick at responding to any questions. Would 100% recommend✨💯

Really enjoyed our stay at Kelly’s in Duncan’s Mills—this place had it all! Beautiful scenic views right off the back balcony and easy river access, made us feel immersed in nature. Plenty to do with your own private dock, kayaks, bikes, hot tub, and nearby town/shops just a mile down the road. Would definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing and fun getaway. Kelly was also an excellent, responsive host and helped make our trip nice and smooth. Thank you!

The view looking out into the woods and river from the living room is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in late April and it was a bit rainy so it wasn’t feasible to enjoy the river, but the location more than made up for it. The proximity to Armstrong Redwoods, Jenner, and several charming nearby towns made for a perfect mix of hiking, beach walks, and exploring local spots.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robert is an excellent host who communicates extremely well. He provided us with excellent directions, restaurant recommendations, and was available to us as needed. This home is one of the most well stocked places we have rented from the kitchen, all kinds of games and books, bikes that are in great working order, ping pong table, hot tub on the deck with a wonderful view and more! Check in and check out is very easy. All of the restaurants we tried were very good and all within 3-5 minutes of the house. I would love to stay here again.

Lisa is an absolute five star host. She was kind in proactively sending us the instructions to her property, house rules and checkout instructions (all were very simple!). The property is a true gem. On the cliff, with a fabulous view and so private and relaxing. There is a market that is small but full of necessities near by that sell tasty sandwiches as well, which was a plus (we forgot to bring a few things!). Not too far from SF. I would love to return.

Kevin‘s home was great and we hope to be back! Of note, there’s farmland right next to the property giving an unobstructed view of the ocean (when the fog/clouds have burned off, that is!). We saw woodpeckers, a quail family, and cows. The pictures don’t really do justice to the open living space with windows and views galore.

We really enjoyed staying at Charlene and Joe’s house. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy meals at home. We especially loved sitting out on the deck right on the water. They are great hosts and great communicators!

Such a beautiful spot ! The view and the deck are just breathtaking… so much marine life and lovely birds swooping by all day. The deck was not as well cleaned as the house , but we didnt care one bit ! Swept away cobwebs and had a great stay. Thanks so much, Matthew. All the best, Alma

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

Amazing condo. There is literally no other way to see the Bay Bridge like this, it's absolutely worth the view!! There were also stocked snacks and beautiful flowers 🥰

This unit is a real treasure. Every moment of being in this unit, returning to it, and departing from it felt like a gift. Easily my favorite unit I've ever stayed in. The surroundings and view are all extremely beautiful, peaceful and even healing. Logan and Stephany are excellent hosts who communicated well before I even arrived. They were helpful and responsive to all my questions. Some things I learned after staying here: - this unit is better if you don't arrive with a car as proper parking is expensive. - Getting groceries will make you feel like Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible. But it's a lot of fun if you enjoy walking. - If you decide to go to the top of Coit tower, you can see some of this unit and the Greenwich steps from the tower. - Tourists regularly walk through the Greenwich steps and it was a real pleasure engaging with them as they did. - As if it the unit wasn't charming enough, hummingbirds can be seen flying through the gardens outside.

The house has a beautiful ocean view off the back balcony! We loved seeing the ocean from the bedroom window or sitting in the hanging egg chair on the patio. The home is very open with plenty of space for a large family (even with just two bedrooms, it really fits 8 comfortably!) The host was responsive even late Saturday evening when we needed some supplies. We would definitely come back to this Airbnb!

This is an awesome place to stay at! The scene is beautiful, especially during evening. Direct view of Oakland port and surroundings. The community is very peace and residents are very friendly. The host Kathy is also very friendly and responsive. She answered many of my questions. I like the self-served check-in and check-out, which offers a more flexible travel schedule. The only reminder for other people driving cars with low ground clearance is to watchout for the garage entry. There's a pretty sharp corner near the #3 entrance, so if ground clearance is a concern, you can get into the garage via #5. (My Tesla Model 3 cannot enter via #3 as a reference).

Julia’s place was great! We came to SF to participate in the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, which is based just a block away from Julia’s place on the Marina Green. Julia’s place is fully equipped and we cooked all our meals in. The building and neighborhood were peaceful and quiet and we got to bed early every night. Beautiful views straight out to the Bay and Alcatraz Island. 5-10 minute walk to a supermarket in one direction and the Chestnut Street commercial district with great shops in the other direction, so we were able to get everything we needed without driving. Julia was a great host, and next time we are in town we would love to stay there again.
