Charming rustic cabin nestled in trees. 15/20 minute walk to the pub and sea. Charlton Cleave is host to Mole Cabin along with Badger and Toad Hall. There is a separate shower/toilet room, shared with the other two cabins. Mains water and electricity, kettle, toaster, cafetière, heater and wifi in the cabin. The village is free from all vehicular traffic on its steep cobbled street, where the only sounds you will hear are footsteps or the donkeys hooves upon the cobbles. With the nearby gem that is St kew Pub, Chapel Ample is the perfect base from which to explore local beaches, take rugged coastal walks and visit nearby Port Isaac.

Thatched Devon Cottage beside stream near beach

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
