Recommended for those who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy Nagano's nature and historic towns at a leisurely pace. Drive to various places during the day. When you return to the inn, relax in the two types of sauna and the water bath. Please spend a quiet time in the countryside while relaxing in a warm room at night. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, but it is also recommended for couples or small groups. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, making it comfortable even for stays of 3 nights or more. Every day, I go to a different place, such as Hakuba, Matsumoto, Narai-juku, Togakushi, Azumino, Omachi, and even Hida Takayama. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). As this is a private rental, you can use it as if it were your own home, but the store on the first floor is open on Fridays and Saturdays, and the host may stay there from time to time. We also accept pets, and you can bring them when you eat on the ground floor.However, regular customers also come to the store on Fridays and Saturdays, so if the dog barks too much, please keep it in the cage on the 3rd floor. The first-floor bistro offers more than 100 types of drinks, including various wines, original cocktails, craft beers, craft gins, and whiskey. On Fridays and Saturdays, à la carte cuisine is available. The course meals also require a reservation, but I recommend them.
