We also welcome pets, and you can bring them with you when you dine on the ground floor. However, since regular customers also come to the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays, if your pet barks too much, you will need to keep it in a cage on the third floor. When you return to the inn, relax in the two types of sauna and the water bath. Please spend a quiet time in the countryside while relaxing in a warm room at night. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, but it is also recommended for couples or small groups. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, making it comfortable even for stays of 3 nights or more. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). All rooms are flat with few steps, and the flow of movement from the entrance to the bathroom is smooth. Small children and the elderly can also stay with peace of mind.
